Could this be inferred from Michele Obama's statement that:
" I worry about my husband (Barrack) being shot. How can I not be? He's a black man in America."

It's amazing how the camouflage of liberalism covers for racism.

If I were black there is no way I'd vote for a party that claims my racial extraction is not imbued with the capabilities that other people are born with, and thusly only the government can take care of my needs.

Black men are 10 times more likely to get shot than men of any other race, that's why we should elect someone else to be President.

truth be told she could have said it in a better way. however, she was "keeping it real". have there ever been a black president? so no, it is not bushes fault, that he is black, or otherwise. but I am a black woman, so i know the concerns of having a black man in such a high position. it has never been done. and what do YOU mean "if i were black", now people could take THAT the wrong way. what does you having to be black do with you voting for Obama? are you saying that those are the only votes he can get? because some of the most famous "white people" have supported his campaighn. i have been voting for almost 12years, and I never had a black man to choose from; i chose who i thought was the better man for the job. not some one who keeps our country at war for nothing. my 23 year old brother has been to iraq and is going back in nov. and i ask you FOR WHAT??!! So don't take what she says as racism, take it as concern.

I see nothing in Mrs. Obama's statement that would reflect on G.W. in any way. Racism against blacks in America is nothing new. I don't have the statistics handy, but I think it should be fairly easy to prove that black men in the U.S. are much more likely to get shot than white men. When all branches of the federal government, all other levels of government, all U.S. corporations from the C.E.O. to the factory workers are representative in number of the country's population we will have achieved racial equality. How you get to "only the government can take care of my needs" from "I worry about my husband being shot (because) he's a black man in America" is beyond me.

Race always seems to be a major point with liberals and i believe it is only a major point in our society because they make it one. If people like Jesse Jackson and Al sharpton stopped corrupting the minds of people into thinking everything is racist in this world then there would simply be much less of it in my opinion.

reading you qestion makes me want to vote for Obama.
He is young and insightful and may get rid of this black sterotype you people seem to want to project that simply isn't true. Opray probably pays more taxes then all the Republicans put together. So grow up and get over the fact some people's skin is a little darker. You Republicans are sickening. Thank God will be out of the white house soon and hopefully it will be a cold day in hell before you ever go in again.

If he is shot, due to the violent nature of most blacks, it will not be a white guy 99 out of 100 times.

Liberals are an odd lot. These are the people who want to wipe out racism, yet they can't go a week without saying something racist.

Maybe she meant to say, "He's black and therefore a gang-banger so I'm concerned for his safety."

[ Black men are 10 times more likely to get shot than men of any other race]

...and who is FAR more likely to do the shooting? That's right! Another black man!
