Nobody criticized Gonzales more than Republican Arlen Spector. I feel he was verbally pummeled because of the awful treatment of political prisoners, during his watch, and his evasive non-answers when testifying. So, was Bush right, or was Gonzales simply incompetent?

There will be no mass deportations
Undocumented immigrants will continue to work and live in the US
The 20 million undocumented immigrants will become US citizens
In 20 years, the US will be a bi lingual Latino-Anglo hybrid nation.
Latinos will more and more, take on positions of leadership in cities, states and nationally
Eventually,, the US will be a Latino nation with an Anglo minority

When will the racist bigots realize that all their whining and raciest rants cant change that ….and deal with it ?

I don't care who he thinks he is or how imporatant he thinks he is because of his salary or his status. The abuse he made those dogs endure just shows his TRUE character. He didn't plead guilty until all others involved made the guilty plea. He is only sorry he got caught. It is time for animal abuse to be taken seriously in this country! He's used as an example for positive things, even being a role model. Let's use this man as the example he SHOULD truly be made for and show this country animal abuse won't be taken lightly! This kind of abuse should be a FELONY! Not a slap on the hand and a mere fine.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his ignorance. It is an area which we call "The Republican Zone".

11 years ago when I was a teen, I was charged w/ possession of a small amt. of marijuana & paraphernalia. I'm now considering a job as a mail courier, but a friend told me they won't hire me because of that petty misdemeanor charge.

Anyone know if this is true?

Thanks in advance.

The founders did not anticipate the dysfunction caused by the bitter animosity between political parties. They were more concerned with balancing the 3 branches of gov't and to have checks and balances between the legislative and the executive. Unfortunately, nothing in the constitution addresses all of the problems caused by bitter partisan politics and conflicts. How can we amend the constitution to reduce or eliminate partisan animosity in our gov't and get back to a government that actually accomplishes something for the people.
