in the past whe we were at war the whole country would sacrifice time, people, and resources in someway. nowadays the war is very distant and this can be dangeruos. especially when a group of people are left to shoulder the burden while the reast of us go on with our lives. maybe we would pay more attention if we were more involved with the war effort. so how do you think you can assist. by the war i served in iraq twice before you even go there.

so I saw this show on court tv about a group of 20 - 30 people that would walk into a grocery store, act like customers, shop, stand, read newspapers, and ask workers for help, while 3 women would sneak back to the office and steal everything in the safe, then they'd walk out, talk in hand signals and then the crowd would slowly walk out.

splitting profits of $40,000 and up.

any info on names, locations, or even URLs concerning these types of crimes.

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people."

Do you believe that the federal government obeys this part of the bill of rights? Can the bill of rights exist if it is selectively enforced?

I don't understand why in every election there are groups out there trying to get young people to vote. If the young people want to vote they should, if they choose not to vote they shouldn't vote.

Why would anyone want to be pressured into casting a vote for something that the person is not interested in and not informed about. I voted for the first time in 2000 because I learned all about the candidates and issues and closely followed the race.

Just like I wouldn't vote for any of these awards shows where I didn't see the movies or know any of the people running, why should people that do not know the candidates or issues be expected to vote?

For example, on the yahoo election site there is a "declare yourself" page trying to get young people to vote. It doesn't offer much information about the candidates or issues. Only that its important they vote. I think its important that people not vote if they don't know what they're voting for.

I want him to just fight through a few more years, but he's been threatening to cut himself again. If it's any help, he's a Marine. He's been in a year. A few guys have gone UA and I'm worried he's thinking of following in suit.

Im in high school and Im 17. Im enlisting in the Marines, looking to go in as part of a tank crew. What should I know before going to a recruiter? I know not to trust the recruiter unless its in writing and that you can get a lot of things guaranteed in an Army enlistment contract, but what all can you get in the Marines?
