I believe it is honorable to kill those who commit emphasized honor killings. Do not believe the lie that Islam is peaceful. Read the Koran and see. 8:12 teaches that Muslims should chop off the heads of infidels (defines as all non-Muslims). 4:34 says that Muslims should beat their wives.
33:50 says Muhammad himself, and only Muhammad, could have sex with every slave girl, all his female cousins, and any other woman "who chooses to give herself to the prophet". Read the koran and see for yourself.
The real God calls such actions evil, and the real God says His rules apply equally to all people, and that would include muhammad who "allah " said could do what God calls adultery. Allah therefor is not God, and muhammad was most certainly not a prophet of God.
The honor killing of Banaz Mahmod should serve to wake us up to the threat posed by islamofascism and the false teachings that led to this plague on our world. Read the koran and you will see that it is the inspiration for this evil plague, which has resulted in the murder of Banaz Mahmod and thousands of other women who committed no crimes. Do a google search on honor killings and see how prevalent this barbaric practice is among muslims.
Read the koran. Study it. Wake up and smell the jihad.

No that's the kind of backward and disgusting idea's that need to be forced out of the religion of Islam.Islam needs enlightenment desperately in some fields and women's rights is one of them.
Now the real question is how do you stop this barberry carried out in the name of Islam.The case can be made honor killings go against the teachings of the Prophet and that these practices betray what Islam is really about.
Also Religious people of any faith should put the laws of the countries they live in above their religious convictions.
Western value's like equality between men and women and separation of church and state are too valuable and not up for debate.

I believe that they happen. These are sociopathic murderers, not ordinary British Muslims.
Honor killings occur in various "traditional" societies where women are disrespected, they are by no means an exclusive feature of Islam, and are sanctioned by the Koran. Here's an informative article:

Honor killings is mainly for the convenience of the male. It relieves them of the expense of raising the offspring. Since it is truly mainly an economic issue I doubt even a liberal could condone it. But spin doctors are good at the craft. It will be interesting how they spin this one!
