You have it backwards. The conservatives were hijacked by extemist right wing neocoms

By definition, liberals and conservatives are at opposite ends of the political agenda.
And 'extremists' are, by definition, more liberal than the average joe.
And if you're upset by our current political situation, Good! Maybe you can help clean up congress.
