thanks for serving first of all. I am thankful for the sacrifice you made for this great nation. My brother-in-law is at Camp Victory in Baghdad right now and will not be home until next May. I called the JustBorn candy company and them send a bunch of all the candies they make to his unit and many others there in Baghdad. I really wish I could do more, but I pray for them each day and for the President and our other leaders to make decisions that will end this whole mess soon.

I have donated my husband to the effort. He did a 6 mo. tour in 2004. Also, I give supplies for the troops to the Blue Star Mothers and my husband and I always remember the troops in our prayers.

Mixing the troops with the support of the war or in political bickering is not a good way to support the soldiers. if you want to support the soldiers leave them out of politics just like they have to serve regardless of their political beliefs.
I served too.

My daughter is serving in Iraq. My wife and I send her large CARE packages every month. We try to send enough goodys to share with her fellow soldiers. The BX doesn't carry a lot of items that she wants so we send it to her.

This is a war that should never have been started--and was startedBy Bush under flalse pretenses.
Tht is no reflection on the troops--they are victims of this shamefulpolicy as much as the Iraqi people are.
SUPPORT THE TROOPS--BRING THEM HOME NOW

My co-workers and I have donated many thinks to be taken over seas to our local troops: gum, candy, magazines, chap stick, instant beverages, so and so forth. Just little things to make them more comfortable. Also, I have written anonymously several times to show my appreciation for their sacrifice.

I will do my best to elect a leader that isn't interested in military-industrial theocracy ... and won't put our kids in harms way for personal or religious reasons
