I have a friend, he's underage, and lives with his parents in the USA. They parents are Mexican, and they already got their residency, and they both can legally work in the USA. My friend already got his residency approved, but it's been months alreayd, and he wasn't gotten his papers yet.
He wants to work, but he can't.

Can he sell stuff on eBay, or is that illegal too?

Shouldn't have problems since ebay is international. It's like a great big world wide garage or yard sell.

Hey Ped0phile.... There are a lot of people here legally waiting for visas. For example, a student on a student visa who is trying to get married and waiting for a fiance or spouse visa is one example. And of course all of that requires additional fees and such. Also, it can take longer to get the green card then the immigrant visa allows for, which now requires travel or multiple tourist visas. This happened to my family. They traveled back and forth every 90 days because of it. Again, more cost to come here through the legal process. And then once you have the green card, it's only good for 2 years initially and has to be renewed, and guess what, yet another fee for that too. And if you overstay one of those visas, your done for.

You are SUPPOSED to claim taxes from ebay merchandise, by the way.

Ebay itself does not ask for ID or whatever, so have at 'er. It's not illegal to participate in thousands of other activities in the country, so why not take advantage of other things.

Plus, ebay is international, not just US.

He can, there is no problems with that. Another way for him to be able to work is by getting a passport and going to the immigration district office near him and ask that his passport get a stamp in order for him to work legally.

But regarding e-Bay, yes!!!

Hope this helps!!!

I think he'll have to pay taxes on it. You can go to the site and read their rules.
