I'm usually there with a representative of Military Families Speak Out but he's not always able to show up and I'm not a member of the group. I'm looking for a blue-chip group that isn't filled with granola-eating, sandal-wearing naive idealists and pacifists who believe that Hitler would have turned out all right if his family had just given him a pony or that if we all sit around with terrorists and sing Kumbya around the campfire, everything will be fine. Sheep, in other words, who think that wolves are influenced by moral suasion - and the first ones to get a bullet in the head if Osama bin Laden gets his Caliphate.

...For not entering the presidential race three friggin' years before the elections happen? Other candidates are saying he's entering too late, but I say thank God there's someone out there who doesn't feel obligated to start cluttering up TV airspace with attack ads or major intersections with loud obnoxious signs YEARS before anyone cares.

The second anniversary of that horrible tragedy is coming up. Everyone seems to be pointing fingers at who dropped the ball that caused people to be left behind in a doomed city, whose job was it to strenthen the levees long before Katrina came along, why was N.O. so impoverished to begin with....

Are you proud now that you have forced a fourth high ranking Republican from office by constantly hounding and investigating, with zero proof of wrong doing, or any proof of any law being broken?

Gonzales, whom Bush once considered for appointment to the Supreme Court, is the fourth top-ranking administration official to leave since November 2006, following Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, who had a high-ranking Pentagon job before going to the World Bank as its president, and top political and policy adviser Karl Rove.

Today is a banner day for the worst questions and answers on this site . People foolishly arguing about how many people resigned during this administration or that administration . One guy who thinks it's 'hilarious' that our troops die in Iraq during their noble service to our country . Complaints and bashing abound . . . as always . A good percentage of Greece is on fire . People are dying left and right . The Midwest. . . that's right , THE MIDWEST of the United States Of America is devastated with flooding , trees down , houses and lifelong personal affects gone . Historic droughts of unheard of proportions still exist and continue in many states . And yet so many of you are willing to crush anyone who disagrees with you .
SHAME ON YOU . And just where the hell is your HEART ? Your SOUL ? Your DECENCY ? Your COMPASSION ?
YOUR HELP ?

I have a friend who is a private investigator and was doing some work down in Sarasota, Florida when he was arrested for an unpaid traffic ticket. (It was either speeding or parking I'm not sure which) When he called his fiance' from jail she was prompted to enter her credit card number for a $50.00 fee and also that bail is not available. We all live in Tampa, Florida so we really don't have any clue what the fee would be for and why bail wouldn't be available for just a single unpaid ticket...

World War 1 - America turns up in relatively small numbers in 1917 and then claim to win the thing.
World War 2 - The Germans fail in their mission to invade Britain in the summer of 1940 largely due to the RAF and their relatively weak naval forces. The British defeat Germany in North Africa and deprive Hitler of vital oil supplies. Germany turns it's attention to Russian oil supplies and launches into a drive toward Moscow. The German army suffers massive losses and is forced back on this front also. Hitlers grand adventure starts failing fast. The Americans finally decide to join in much later and then claim credit for winning another war after most of the hard work is done by Russia and Britain. More people fought and died on the Eastern Front than in all other theatres of World War II combined.

Just a quick history lesson.

I Honestly Believe getting Emancipated would do great help for me. Im 14, going to be 15 in November and live in California.. If a job permit is gaven to me, a friends parents who own a restaurant have agreed to hire me as an employee. I could find a small room or apartment with mygiven area. Im currently enrolled in school, & do great, I join many extra curriclular activities such as ROP, Stage & Lighting, and Cross Country. I believe that im being mistreated at home. Once while I was off to school, I was wearig a pair of jeans that my parents didn't like so they holded me down and with a pair of scissors began to cut them right off me. I dont know why, but when they were done cutting my jeans, they tied me down to a bed and began to hit me with a belt. Confused and scared, all I did was shed tears and hope for a way to escape. Ive seen counselling & my Psychologist has came to the conclusion that I was depressed. She Issued Anti Depressants for the nest meeting but we never returnedMy parents say they treat me the way they do for my

particular unique style of clothing. They say its abnormal & disgusting. But that is not true, its

an ecxuse a reason to be mistread. You see, after going to counselling, my Psychologist

changed my parents point of view. They allowed me to dress my way, in return they wanted

excellence in academics, and I did. But later on, I Confessed to my parents that I was Gay. After

that day things changed Dramaticly. They began to be more and more agressive towards me &

very impatient. My Dad, tells me not to act the way I do

but i can't help it, its who I am & I cant change me from inside. He has threatened me saying that

he would burst my lip if he ever heard or saw me do something with a guy. He also said he was

going to work during the night, so during the day he could spy on me at school. I told him he

couldn't do that because it would be abuse, angerly he said that he didn't care he would still do it.

He has beat me two times since the day of the confession in only a month and a half. He is

constantly putting me down, saying that im a prostitute? & other dreadful things as well. I can't live

here in this household. I don't feel safe, I can't wait til the next beating. I feel, as if things well only

get worse, more than they are already. I want to live in an enviorment where im not mistreated

and treated as an equal no matter what my sexual orrientation is. I've also come to the

conclusion that my father may be Homophobic. Whenever he sees a Homosexual, Transexual, or

whatever the case is. He tends to poke fun at them, giggles or at least gives a dirt look. I've been

kicked out once & another time he told me to leave but I refused and locked myself in my room.

I’m not a Michael Vick fan, But once Michael Vick has served whatever jail time he gets handed, and pays all of his fines, and does all of his community service should he not have the right to go back and play in the NFL if there is a team willing to take him? It's not like he broke an NFL rule, he broke the state of Virginia’s rule, and at that point the state would have already administered it’s punishment for breaking that said rule. The NFL commissioner has started his own independent investigation Of Vick. This now officially equals Vick’s 2nd investigation (The other was by the state obviously) He will serve his sentence for the guilty plead he entered. Should the Commissioner then have the right to step in and have an additional hearing for the same charges? (Thus the double jeopardy)& hand out an additional punishment that might prevent Vick from making a living.

Ok, my husband and I got into a little scuffle..nothing major...well he grabbed my hand with my keys in them...i called the police because all I really wanted them to do was give me my keys...well they ended up arresting him for domestic assault because he "forcibly grabbed my hand" and that is really all they have on him. I did write a statement saying that was all he did and that was the truth...well he had to go to court today for an arraignment..and tomorrow we have to go to court again to get the C.O.R. amended...(a COR is where he can not contact me for anything nor come home)...well my question is...I know they are going to make me come to court..I am not pressing charges against him..the state of tennessee is..i was wondering if I could plead the fifth..if I do can i get in trouble for not speaking..or is it best to just say that the only thing he did was grabbed my hand?

EXCERPT FROM ARTICLE:
"There are American officials who consider Iraq as if it were one of their villages, for example Hillary Clinton and Carl Levin," al-Maliki told a news conference.

"This is severe interference in our domestic affairs. Carl Levin and Hillary Clinton are from the Democratic Party and they must demonstrate democracy," he said. "I ask them to come to their senses and to talk in a respectful way about Iraq."
