Yeah, the way its going, the only people who will be willing to serve in the government will be competent, honest people. Wouldn't that be terrible?

It's so sad that these right wing morons can never see fault on their side. Gonzales was practically caught red handed, failed miserably when questioned and you blame that on "leftist hate"?
I don't get you Bush groupies. You claim the left is useless and has no power in America but then suddenly we have enough influence to force a corrupt pardoned attorney to resign? You need to take a step back and think about what you're saying. You're embarrassing yourself just like all of the other Bush groupies on Y!A. Stop defending these criminals and use your brain for a change.

No, very few on either side of the political spectrum supported him. His job from day one was to carry the water for W, from laundering W driver license in Texas, so that the 2 DUI's would not appear on his record, to the midnight raid on the sick bed on John Ashcroft for their illegal wire tapping program

Republicans screeched, squawked and squealed hysterically for 35,000 years over such non-issues as "TravelGate", wherein Bubba exercised power that he legitimately had to fire a bunch of incompetent bureauocrats. THAT was a partisan witchhunt.
Get a clue and read all of the Republican congress members who have been for Gonzalez' removal for months now. He was spectacularly incompetent.

The guy is either extremely incompetent or a liar and a criminal or all three. And you would support him just because he is appointed by George Bush and a conservative. That is what is really shameful.
