This happened some where around 1862 when the dems of that time wondered why any white man would die fighting to end slavery during the civil war.

I beg your pardon.....but you are a racist...how dare you call anyone let alone an entire group of people racists?
Colin Powell and Condi Rice are from the elite, Condi's parents are so frickin' rich they could buy the whitehouse, they are both highly educated and very well do to....they sit there and support a man and a party who does little to nothing for the African American people, and have no concern for anyone, black or white, Asian, or Hispanic, who does not have the resources or opportunities they have.
So if you want to call "the guy" who called Gonzalez a beaner a racist, go ahead....but since you haven't met all democrats you can't call them all racists...anymore than I can call all republicans racists.
However, a liar is a liar and he is hiding something that Bush and Dick don't want us to know.

Wow, since one Democrat you met is racist that means every single member of the Democratic party is racist? That makes perfect sense because that guy represents the ENTIRE Democratic party. Way to go.....
So, what's your take on the Republicans having 100% support of the Klu Klux Klan? What does that say about the Republicans? BTW, the KKK doesn't call blacks sell-outs or Unlce Toms......they have a much different more hateful word for black people.
Judging by your ignorance and lack of common sense I'm guessing that this never occured to you nor will you even consider it next time you call the ENTIRE Democratic party racist.

I would put it in 1960 when the Student League for Industrial Democracy (SLID) renamed themselves the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and started working to radicalize the more liberal college students of that time. This became the biases of the so-called "youth-moment" which morphed into the counterculture/hippie movement/antiwar movement of the mid 60s. They embraced every radical cause that came along (including Revolutionary Marxism/Communism) and encouraged the young people to reject the values of their parents and the so-called "establishment." The engaged in radial rhetoric and intentionally labeled the conservatives as "racists." By the late 60s and early 70s the older members of this movement had graduated into grassroots politics and was engaged in taking over the left-wing (neo-left) of the Democratic party. Their greatest victory was hounding Richard Nixon from office and setting up the collapse of South Vietnam and the North Vietnamese victory. They have radicalized ALL politics in the past twenty-five years, but present themselves as "mainstream Democrats" today. There are no longer any conservative Democrats, and moderate Democrats are usually shouted down and browbeaten into silence.

No No No. Democrats (now) are not racist. Back then, the Southern Democrats were indeed racist. If you really look at it, Democrats are the old Republicans. Remember when Republicans used to look out for minorities, now it's the Democrats who do that. After the Civil Rights era, a lot of Southern Democrats migrated to the Republican party. Republicans formed the NAACP, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Affirmative action. But now, it's the Republicans who complain about affirmative action and NAACP.

Why are you questioning the racism of the Democrats on this one? Clearly, these are racist people who happen to support Democrat politicians....but your association of their racism to their party shows discrimination in just the same way...

I imagine it has something to do with their inablility to accept desenting opinions in the democrat party.
Do you know that it is actually very dangerous for a black person to be openly conservative Republican these day.

Don't know. But they are racist. Democrats have said some cruel things to me because I am a black Conservative. If Republicans are so racist, then Democrats are really giving them a run for their money.....
