I think him telling anyone to come to their senses is pretty damn hilarious. He is probably the most clueless bastard on the planet.

Maliki is the head of a giant mess that he clearly doesn't have the intelligence or the drive to straighten out. Bush has been making demands of him, demands with no teeth of course, for years now and he happily thumbs his nose at us and carries on with - with what? I'll tell you who needs to demonstrate a knowledge of democracy or even a shadow of it and that's Maliki. He has proven himself to be a useless puppet while our military continues giving their lives to the cause of setting up a new government in Iraq. Talk in a respectful way about Iraq? How about all those parliamentary idiots, who just had to go on vacation while their country burns, treating their own country's problems respectfully and actually accomplishing something - ANYTHING -to move forward with stabilizing their government?
Am I surprised that he struck out at Clinton and Levin over this? Heck no. He knows that if Sen. Clinton wins the Presidency she's not going to play softball with his parliament as Bush has done, and I'm sure he doesn't like the prospect. Too damn bad in my opinion.

Well, let's put ourselves in his shoes.
If I was running a country and I had to listen to the likes of two carreer politicians, Levin and Clinton, my respone would not be so reserved as his were.
I would not allow either one of those hacks back in my country that's for sure.
I would have them arrested at the airport and deportation proceedings initiated imediately.
I think it's disgusting that our government officials have to get a lesson in manners from a foreign leader.
What is even more disgusting is that the man is right.

Just when I was beginning to think AL-Maliki didn't have what it takes, he drops a jewel like this! I don't blame a single soldier's death on anything inside Iraq. I blame it on politicians who have brought dissension to our country for one reason only, they hate the president.

The even bigger question is why does the United States have so much control in another countries governmental affairs. Nobody comes over here to say anything and believe me, there is a lot to be said.

With the way things are going with that so called government I didn't even know there was an Iraqi Prime Minister.
You know if he doesn't want the U.S. to interfere or make comments, we should just bring our troops back home.

"Come to your senses, drink the kool aid, and start thinking that I'm an effective Prime Minster!"
That's what his comments felt like they were saying to me.
