I was wondering since people today can pretty much sue anyone for anything, has anyone ever heard of a jury member or an entire jury being sued for a conviction?

I want to copy a photo I found in flickr that has the Creative Commons. Under CC, do I have a right to print out a copy for my own personal use if I attribute it to the author?
I will print it at a local photolab, and before printing digital photos the lab has a disclaimer saying if the photo is not mine/is copyrighted I can't print it...

I really don't like dealing with the local government employees. I happen to think the laziest, fattest and least intelligent of the population find themselves working for the government. Common sense does not apply with them; only an easy paycheck and a lots of paid time off. Thats basically it for them.

If anyone should pay off my fines, it should be my employer who is too damn cheap to give me a underground parking spot free of charge. I almost feel I should put the parking bill on my boss's desk. Its his fault if he wants me to come to work on time, and if I have to park illegally, then how else am I supposed to arrive on a timely basis?

What if I just never pay these ridiculous fines? The government already screws me out of enough money. If they want *more* of my money, at least they can scrape off all the homeless scum off the streets, so my walk to work is a bit more aesthetically pleasing.

Anyone know what happens if I never pay?

ok. here is what i think.

I think abortions are wrong. i would never have one. but i also think it is wrong for the government to tell a woman what she can or can't do to her own body. just look at what happened in south dakota! is this gonna happen in every state soon? i think every woman should have the right to CHOOSE to have an abortion or not.

serious answers only and please support your opinion.

So far, every time I have back a liberal into a corner (see my 2 previos questions below), I have received multiple violation notices. Liberals are like children sometimes.

There are a few countries that I would love to live in, I can speak the language(s) but I don't want to sacrifice my big, fat American paycheck. So I figured an embassy or consulate-type job would be perfect. Work for America, at an American wage, in a foreign country. Obviously, my mental picture of the reality of this kind of situation is horribly uninformed. I'm talking Eastern Europe, preferably the Baltic. What kind of positions could I get and what kind of experience and education would I need? How would I apply?
Thank you in advance!

I was given a ticket going 80 in a 65. I was one of only two cars on the road, it was late at night and yes, I was sober. This would be my second ticket ever -- my record is clean, and I'd like to keep it that way....does anyone know a way to reduce or fix the ticket? (I've already done traffic school, so I'm not eligible).

If I can get it reduced with a lawyer, does anyone know one? It's a civil speeding ticket, please help!

I just got out of boot camp with the Air Force. I was medically disqualified because of a prior collapsed lung. So, I got an Entry Level Seperation for not meeting medical requirements. So, what's the likelyhood of me being drafted?

If your answer is yes, do you fight for these ideas?

I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who said,"Give me liberty or give me death." Now today, we have George Bush saying,"Give me your liberties or were going to die."
If you dont know the principles of the constitution, I suggest you go read it.
P.S. I support Ron Paul, he is the champion of the constitution and liberty, If you dont know who he is, I would urge you to research him on Youtube and Google.

Odd scenario but curious as to what would happen. You are an Ensign aboard a U.S. Aircraft carrier located 200 miles off the coast of a major African city. You have just received word that both of your parents have been tragically killed in a car accident. The ship will not be docked in port for another month. Would the Captain allow you to be transported off the ship on a Seahawk or other form of air transportation towards the African city to return back home? Is this a scenario that would happen?

I love how people say that he is this country's best chance to gain our liberties back and keep them, and yet when you look at his political views, he is another Bush except for Iraq. He's just really good at managing an internet campagin, and that's that.

Certain people come on this forum every day and tell lie after lie. Don't you have anything better to do? Don't you have any real ideas? You are making your party look stupid.

If this doesn't makes sense to you read my previous question below.

I mean, seriously, what have you done to "earn" the benefits of our government's tax money? Unless you are some kind of public servant (i.e. soldier, police officer, teacher, etc.), you're no less a freeloader than an illegal immigrant. You were just lucky enough to be born here.

Should he go to jail? Also shouldn't the State of Virginia have charged him instead of the government? We are the United States of America. State is another word for country we are just united. If you read the constitution I believe there is nothing in there about dogfighting. Dogs may be living things but so are cows and pigs. Well, what do you think?
