I love how people say that he is this country's best chance to gain our liberties back and keep them, and yet when you look at his political views, he is another Bush except for Iraq. He's just really good at managing an internet campagin, and that's that.

Very those days, merely in the previous few months. i used to be an avid liberal democrat, yet I grew to grow to be disgusted with the democrats in the time of this final election -- and that i'm much greater disgusted with them now that I see how reason they're to proceed those irresponsible economic rules. Like "A Republicrat", I used to think of Ron Paul became right into a kook. regardless of if, over the trip trips in December i became into traveling family and got here across Ron Paul's e book "The Revolution" on a bookshelf. I picked up the e book, all started examining it, and could now not placed it down. i found out this guy wasn't a kook in any respect; in actuality, he became into waiting to verbalize precisely what's incorrect with our modern government. That became into "all she wrote" as they are saying. i found out that, in actuality, I agreed with a great number of what he suggested -- and that he's the sole flesh presser keen to chat the actuality! because then, and because I incredibly have appeared into Dr Paul greater thoroughly, I incredibly are starting to be a supporter -- much greater so now that it has grow to be greater effective than obvious that our government is ineffectual and incompetent as that's now.

Ron Paul is NOTHING like Bush. Check your facts dude! But I can think of many people who like to say Ron Paul is overrated, such as socialists, fascists, tax collectors, warlords, and people who don't check the facts!

are you kidding me? he's nothing like bush. he voted against the war AND the patriot act. he wants to dismantle the department of homeland security and would never rape the constitution the way bush and cheney have. he wants power restored to the states instead of having the federal government interfere any way they can. look at the medical marijuana debate in california. the voters of california clearly favored allowing medical marijuana but the federal government prosecutes doctors that supply it to their patients. the federal government needs to be downsized and to quit sticking its nose in people lives. i can't think of any way that ron paul and george bush are similar....maybe they're both pro-life, i don't know if bush is or not. i do know that ron paul is, though. however, being pro-choice myself, the beauty of ron paul is that it doesn't matter if he's pro-life or pro-choice because he will let the STATES decide which is best for their citizens.

Yes and No. It appears that it isn't that he is so great. It seems that he is elevated when compared to the other candidates.

So, as a potential president he may be overrated. Yet as a candidate compared to other candidates, he may not be.

Another Bush, because he's from Texas? Why you waste points and web space to post these "overrated stupid questions"?

Yes I think he is over-rated. He seems to be the only logical republican running for president. But....he is still a republican.
