No, they are not as outraged.
You should know this, big time lib that you are.
Democrats put party politics above principle at every turn...denying any wrongdoing by Jefferson, Murtha, Kennedy, Frank, Hastings, Reid, or Pelosi, or Clinton. All because their purpose is more to hate Republicans than to govern the USA.

I think they would be, if both of them caused a situation that had the chance of adversly affecting national security, like Libby's actions. Jefferson should pay for his crimes, but what were they? accepting money to help a telemarketing company get a contract over seas, and using the power of his office to do so?
that really doesn't compare to Libby's crime, and if he was Republican, they would be calling it Free-Market Capitalism.
and no, him retaining his seat isn't an embarassment to the USA, it shows we uphold our ideals of "innocent until proven guilty", and when justice is served, it will show that Gonzo does do something, once in a while, other than covering up for Bush.

Better a little embarrassment than the destruction of a nation, and a world. Scooter Libby is a scapegoat for the tyrant in the oval office, who had all knowledge concerning the "outing' of the undercover CIA operative. This makes him eligible to receive trial for High Treason against the United States, as he endangered the lives of every agent in the field and the U.S. itself for personal spite.

On June 4, 2007, a federal grand jury indicted Jefferson on 16 charges related to corruption; if convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.
On July 2, 2007, President Bush commuted Libby's 30-month federal prison sentence, calling it "excessive."
Yeah, i'm pretty outraged about that.

Ney, DeLay, Cunningham, Abrahmoff,( sp ? ) , and a more who are soon to be incarcerated or behind bars already.

I won't speak for all Democrats, but I surely am.
It is totally outrageous that he is still in office ... I realize that there isn't legally much they can do about Jefferson being in office - that's up to the State - but they have at least ousted him from all of his committees.
Its amazing to me that anyone even talks to him.

Dems are pissed. If he's convicted then he'll be expelled. Are you saying that he should loose his seat before he has been convicted in a court of law?
