When Obama was running for Senator of Illinois I actually liked him. Since he announced he is running for president and I hear him speak I dislike him even more and more. Now it seems he has a huge ego and talks in circles. Also he doesn't seem as sincere. Don't get me wrong I am a liberal and will always be a liberal. I am the only democrat that feels this way?

Northern Ireland is part of Great Britain... but what about the South?

Seriously, Ireland doesn't even have an army, all they are known for is the IRA. Great, so Ireland gives us Terrorists... they don't even hae an army...

Why didn't we just invade them, and make the south a part of the UK?

Ireland seems useless.

By unqualified, I mean not having the general public's interests at heart, or seeming to only want another feather for their hat.

have any of u tried it ???

everyday in this forum I see people talking about how right they are , about how is it that they would never do wrong and about how is it that anyone who doesn’t do as right as they say they would do not deserve forgiveness ... do not deserve a chance .... most of u may never have to go through all an immigrant has to go through in ur life , however there is a promise which I believe with all my heart and that promise being that if I can just be kind then I will , one day , receive that kindness back , that kindness which we all one day may need or might have already receive with out even knowing so .... I also know and believe too that if I only judge and I choose to be harsh to others then that kindness may not come to me but the same judgement which I gave will surely do ... I do not choose kindness because of the reward since the best reward is to know that I was kind to others and tried to actually be helpful instead of all about being “RIGHT” and saying that I would never be capable of doing wrong ...

So my questions would be :

is it better to choose kindness or to choose being “right” and never capable of doing wrong ???

And

why would THAT be ur choice ???

Please be kind ;) and Thank u ...

over to immigration? Isn't that aiding a criminal illegal felon alien? He wants to keep families together. How about keeping them together in their own country? And he wants to be president??? We are in big time trouble if he even comes close.

When considering an independent candidate as your ONLY choice for president meaning conservatives and liberal extremists were NOT RUNNING or inacessable for some reason to the mainstream vote...who would get more of the popular vote in the election....

Ron Paul
or
Ru Paul

Just an opinion, no posturing or pelosi/reid regime grandstanding, thanks.

+ More than 9.25 million people are held in penal institutions throughout the world, mostly as pre-trial detainees (remand prisoners) or as sentenced prisoners. Almost half of these are in the United States (2.19m), China (1.55m plus pre- trial detainees and prisoners in ‘administrative detention’) or Russia (0.87m).

+ The United States has the highest prison population rate in the world, some 738 per 100,000 of the national population, followed by Russia (611), St Kitts & Nevis (547), U.S. Virgin Is. (521), Turkmenistan (c.489), Belize (487), Cuba (c.487), Palau (478), British Virgin Is. (464), Bermuda (463), Bahamas (462), Cayman Is. (453), American Samoa (446), Belarus (426) and Dominica (419).

+ However, more than three fifths of countries (61%) have rates below 150 per 100,000. (The rate in England and Wales - 148 per 100,000 of the national population - is above the mid-point in the World List.)

I mean, Gravel seems cool but he's an underdog for sure... and Edwards, Clinton, and Obama seem to do an awful lot of "tap dancing"...

Not that I'm leaning towards republicans... they aren't fairing much better. The choices are getting slim!

OK folks. Here's your chance to shine. Let's hear some real insight. Please, no cutsie 2-3 word answers. But some legitimate effort into it. We may all learn something from you!

P.S. I'm not giving Liberals the easy way out. Saying they would re-elect Bush is not an option. However, as a fair minded Conservative, I am more than willing to give Best Answer to a Liberal's answer. I don't favor people who share my views. I want to see scathing insight, and real imagination. Let the contest begin !!

If cigarettes are so bad for people then, they should be illigal for people to buy. Don't you think that the manufacturer's of this product should have to pay the blunt of the tax's not the smoker. The manufacture's are producer's of the bad product and are the one's who sell the product and made the people addicted. In Drug term's the manufacturer are the "PUSHER'S". The goverment is taxing the wrong people.

If the United State's Goverment is so concerned about drug's then, why have the not distroryed all the poppy plants in Afganistan? Where a great deal of the heroin come's from. Sound's like the Goverment does not real care about there people. But are only intrested in stuffing there pockets with as much cash as they can.

DO YOU THINK THAT POLITICANS ARE REAL PASSING LAWS IN THE BEST INTREST OF THE PEOPLE? ..... DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR GOVERMENT IS RERESENTING YOU?

I keep hearing over and over cons complaining about taxes. "don't rais my taxes". "Blame Clinton, he raised taxes". "Read my lips, no new taxes" yeah we get the lies there in.

Any way, if you con jobs are so unpatriotic as to pay your fair share of taxes for public beaches, public school, public roads, public restrooms, public bridges, etc. Then stay off or out of them. Don't go using this patriot's countries schools. Don't go swimming at this patriot's public beach. Don't use this patriot's public restrooms.

Matter of fact if you cons are so unpatriotic to support this country, GO LIVE IN IRAQ. You prefer to allow Bush to funnel tax dollars to Iraq any way. Go join in. I'm sure you will love the great Iraqi dessert and roadside bombs.

Take off and leave the country you choose to neglect. Now who is the TRUE FREE LOADERS?

Enjoy your move to Iraq.

The report above is based on joe wilsons findings. It clearely shows that Iraq DID attempt to buy yellowcake uranium from Niger.

This is completely opposite of what he testified to, as he never thought this document would be released.

Where is the outrage?

I think we generally think that cons are either rich and selfishly electing people for their own best interest..ie.150k year...
The rest are just confused by the media and not conscious of truth in their world.... We do not think they have less intelligence, just less valuable life experience, such as multiple relationships and the mind expansion available from drugs...

Now what do cons think about libs?
