True Marxism as seen in the writings of Marx and Hagel is a sort of communal living where everyone works and contributes to the community so that no one is without. In a true Marxist society, there would be no polarization of wealth because everyone would work for the community

Though Marx never called himself a communist, nor did he coin the term, Marxist theory is *real* communism and there have been small groups of people who have gone off and really made this work the way Marx intended it.

The person above me is incorrect: communism is not a perfect example of Marxism because no national community has ever made this work the way Marx envisioned it.

It was a system developed by Karl Marx, in which the state (or the government) is an exploitation of the masses (the common population) by a dominant class. Throughout history, this has been self-defeating, and will eventually, after a transitional period known as the "dictatorship of the proletariat", be followed by what is now known as Socialism, or a classless society. The Communist governments are perfect examples of Marxism.

take from the ones who have, and give to the ones who don't have.
(that was less than fifty words)
----
Socialism sounds great on paper, but it does not work in reality, and that has been proven time after time.

If you keep taking from the ones who work, and give to the ones who don't, the ones who work will lose the will to work, and the overall collection that is split will eventually diminish. This effectively will be a downward spiral until poverty by all is reached.
