When considering an independent candidate as your ONLY choice for president meaning conservatives and liberal extremists were NOT RUNNING or inacessable for some reason to the mainstream vote...who would get more of the popular vote in the election....

Ron Paul
or
Ru Paul

Just an opinion, no posturing or pelosi/reid regime grandstanding, thanks.

Hi-I was, at first, puzzled by the Ron Paul answerers; then annoyed; then intrigued. Now, I have no objection to Ru Paul--a 6'6" crossdressing president would be a change that would catch the world's attention, but I don't think we should be annoyed at all by the Ron Paul crowd here. I'm not voting for him (he won't survive the primaries), but have you really studied his platform? He has some excellent ideas and some I don't support, but the man is an independent thinker who is indebted to no party and will not support an ideology because he thinks God talks to him. Of course, if you believe in God, he talks to all of us--some leaders choose not to listen. I think he's honest; a breath of fresh air and totally unavailable because the Republicans have shut him out. I respect his supporters.

The tone of your query is apparent on your "important points". Why are Obama supporters so afraid to allow opponent indicators, specifically Ron Paul be on show? RP takes clear of GOP votes greater than Obama's and cannot harm the percent of vote by means of dependable Obama supporters. Signs play any such small function in how individuals vote. I do not force by means of an opponent to my option and get a final minute whim to modify. Why might any one. People stealing and vandalizing indicators and ads are losing their vigour too. It makes little change to how individuals vote. This is any such Marxist/Communist/Dictatorial sounding query!

Tired of Ron Paul's supporters....??

The way his support is growing by the day, Ron Paul's detractors would have to be treated for life-threatening exhustion.

Your pun STILL isn't clever.

Lemme guess, you like Fred because the 'real' conservatives told you to?
