Did Ohio ever pass the bill to do this? And do you think it it right? Me, I think it would be a good thing.

Criket the sex offender would have to have the pink LP on any car that he or she drives, or face a $1000 fine and 180 days in jail

www.scapegoatz.com come on now no cares what you did when you were 10 and a 18 and a 16, I was talking about real violent offenders, don't you want to know if that old man with the 5 year in his car is a rapest. you could save that girls life. And for putting them in danger of people hunting down people with pink LP's, I could just go on the internet and hunt the SEX OFFENDERS down, and yes I have looked to see if I have S.o. near me, I have 2 with in a mile.

Quite Frankly I think they should have one of those neon signs on the roof of their car, and then an arm band that lights up so we could teach our children if they see that they are to run!
They are the lowest of low, and should have a town in the middle of the desert to live in, not our communities.

The one bad thing is so many things could make you known as a sex offender. Using the bathroom outside, getting a arrested for visiting a prostitute, Maybe you where 18 and had a 16 year old girlfriend, or something that happened when you where under the age of ten. Than there are the other real crimes.
Now putting everyone with these plates, people will be gunning for them. Crimes against them will happen. This also can be like the scarlet letter. Maybe infidelity may become a sex crime.

To Nick, of course nobody would want that to happen to them. And honestly, how many people are going to be making sure that your swim trunks don't fall off when you jump in a lake or something. But those don't really count, things like that happen to people all the time. I think by sex offenders he means people who have actually molested or raped children.
Now, to answer your question, I don't know if they actually passed it. To me, pink license plates for sex offenders seems silly at first, however after thinking about it it would be an incredibly easy way to know when sex offenders are around, a lot easier than trying to remember a sex offenders face.

First off, Nick has no idea what he is talking about. He is spreading Urban Legends. Mainly there has to be intent. Anyway, as your question...I worry. One, if the Sex Offender is married, his wife would have to perhaps drive the car. Two,the car would constantly be smashed to hell...think about it. Three, no insurance company would cover the car so again the wife, or husband in the reverse, would have to get a car on their own, and that would present a whole new set of problems.

Nick don't lie you don't have any friends, and what the cops were at the lake looking for people showing off there JUNK. I thing it would be a good idea for the worst of them. And wow Nazi's bro, yea lets make them wear arm bands and die in slave labor camps its more than deserve.

It's a lousy idea. I don't agree with putting a "scarlet letter" type marking on a convicted criminal's car simply because he may have a wife, kids, or some other relatives who use the car too and may not be able to afford a car of their own. Why should they have to be shamed as well?

you know if you get seen peeing in the woods its a sex offense?
you know that taking pictures of your kids that someone doesn't feel you should like your 2 month old naked in the sink for a bath its a sex offense?
you know if you dive into the lake and you top or swim trunks come off its a sex offense
do you think if that happens to you you would want to be marked for the rest of your life
if they could do it to actually molesters and rapists sure I'm for it but they won't define the difference

I think i would be against it, but still i would like to know who was a sex offender or not. But still it like discriminating against people. People should get colored tags or whatever they want for a tag. Instead of the basic white tag.

I dont beleive in punishing people after they serve their sentences but in the case of sex offenders parents and communities need to protect children and that need is far greater than the need of sex offenders to blend into society.
