I hear that spider silk is 3 times stronger than Kevlar. Would it be possible for me to walk around finding spider webs to harvest silk from until I have enough to make a vest? Would it work as is or would I have to find a way to weave it? I was thinking just get a whole lot of it, put it between two pieces of fabric like in quilts and just use that. It is too sticky to weave though. Anyone know anytihng about this?

I sent a piece of rare electronic equipment for repair several years ago. I paid the technician (who is out of state) for the repair; however, he has never return shipped the item. I have been in e-mail and phone contact over the years, but none of the pressure that I have asserted has helped. What legal options do I have to get this item returned to me? How should I go about doing this?

I'm a Democrat but have always admired John McCain -- he avoids the nastier divisive rhetoric and seems like an all-around reasonable guy. Plus, he's got 'war president' cred as a former POW. What happened to him, and how did he lose what little Republican support he had?

Before I met him, he had a few assault and battery charges, 2 misdemeanors, 1 felony. And he also had possession of a gun, which I think was a felony. They are all from at least 3 or 4 years ago. Since then, he has been very good. But he is thinking about joining the Navy or something in the military. Would they take him? Are there restrictions about a criminal background? If so, what are they? Thanks in advance.

Then why isn't the rest of the world HELPING ?

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it was also dangerous for American mine workers to go down in a compromised mine and risk their lives to save others !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's also dangerous for every American Police Officer and Firefighter to go to work everyday !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's also dangerous for every unarmed aid worker to help people in other war ravaged nations !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's always dangerous to confront murderers . But don't we do it anyway !!

Dangerous ? -- Huh , none of us knows the meaning of 'DANGER' unless you've spent some time in Iraq like perhaps THE U.S. ARMED FORCES AND OUR ALLIES !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh Yeah , . . . . . But This Reeks Of COWARDICE !!

I say it's high-time to 'call-out' the rest of the world . Enough blaming the United States , it's time to blame the cowards !!

What Say You ?
