Then why isn't the rest of the world HELPING ?

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it was also dangerous for American mine workers to go down in a compromised mine and risk their lives to save others !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's also dangerous for every American Police Officer and Firefighter to go to work everyday !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's also dangerous for every unarmed aid worker to help people in other war ravaged nations !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh yeah , but it's always dangerous to confront murderers . But don't we do it anyway !!

Dangerous ? -- Huh , none of us knows the meaning of 'DANGER' unless you've spent some time in Iraq like perhaps THE U.S. ARMED FORCES AND OUR ALLIES !!

Dangerous ? -- Oh Yeah , . . . . . But This Reeks Of COWARDICE !!

I say it's high-time to 'call-out' the rest of the world . Enough blaming the United States , it's time to blame the cowards !!

Why do anything when the U.S. is going to do it first.

Shoot first, ask questions later is what I always say.

I think in some way you can say why did the rest of world allow other areas like Somalia, Darfur, etc to be the mess they are. Even the most visible the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians many seem to not be out there to come up with real solutions. The world does not care about their future!!!!

America is one of the very few nations on earth that actually acts out of nobility and true compassion. We have helped nations around the globe who turned around and did nothing but spit in our faces. No one appreciates the U.S., except when they're in desperate need.

Other nations are cold and calculating. Imagine you were the leader of Norway. What possible good could it do your career to involve your country in Iraq? No one is going to vote for you just because you're doing the right thing.

Other nations are just waiting until Iraq stabilizes. Then they might send in some token support; just enough so they can lay claim to getting lucrative business deals.

The problem is that the United Nations is not doing its job. It is not fulfilling its mandate. The U.N. could make the problem of gutless world leaders irrelevant by acting on behalf of that country. It would take the politically elected leader in that country out of the hot seat. If a country's U.N. representatives are just following U.N. mandates about stabilizing a country in need, the leaders are off the hook politically.

A politician is just like anyone else when it comes to wanting to preserve their job. We have to figure out a way to encourage world leaders to do the right thing.

The world understands that something has to be done but they don't have the backbone to do it.

It is far better for them if they sit back and complain about how the US is doing things and after we are done. Than they will claim they were on our side all the time.

Just like after the post Christmas tsunami.
The world promise to provide aid but it was the US that show up and provided it without question.

Why? This is not their fight. They did not create this mess. So why should they extend themselves to clean up the mess? To call them cowards for realizing their own minds and needs. I just don't think so. And maybe just maybe they are listening to what their citizens have to say about it.

Maybe the rest of the world thinks bush was a fool for going into Iraq.
Even our good friends the British are leaving Iraq and going home.
The people of the world know that Iraq was not involved with 9-11.
Why should they help clean up bush's big mistake ?

"we" ? your question was about "them" - remember ?!?

Because it was a war of lies. Bush got himself into this mess boasting of his shock and awe.
He can get himself out.
