Yes its true and they'll be back next week to bomb us (so the Sun said) you're probably the only person in the UK who has'nt sent his kids to live in the country, dug a trench at the bottom of the garden, put sellotape on the windows, bought 3 tons of pot noodles, 2000 gallons of coca lite..........................

No it didn't fly in British airspace. They remained in international airspace headed towards the UK. No it would not have been nuclear armed.

This reminds me of the fuss a few weeks ago with the tit for tat expulsion of British and Russian diplomats that had some morons running for the bomb shelters.

Thirty years ago this sort of thing was such a routine occurance that it didn't even make the news. It is now nothing more than a carefully planned "publicity stunt" by the Russian government. No need to stock your bomb shelter up with pot noodles just yet.

It wasn't in British airspace but was heading towards it so RAF jets kept an eye on the Russian Bomber before it broke off and turned back home.

No they did not "flu" into our airspace they flew over the north of Scotland well outside our airspace did a right as they approached Iceland and back into Russian airspace

Yes and no.

Yes a russian bomber skimmed British air space.

No, there is no way in heck, the russians let a bomber off the ground carrying nuclear weapons.

The US doesn't even allow bombers off the ground carrying nuclear weapons anymore, not since the 1970's.

Why are Western journalists so pathetically dumb publishing news from abroad?

1. That was a strategic bomber.
2. No weapons carried.
3. Just a training/recon mission.
4. Didn't enter any country airspace.

I'd recommend all Western TV stick to their ADB issues (Another Dumb Blonds, freaking McCanns, etc) and don't put their long hooked noses in big guys' games.

If a threat was real, there will be no more UK on the Earth map.
