Bush stated that the cause of the Cambodian genocide in the years following American withdraw resulted from the withdraw. This is a wildly simplisitc and myopic view on the matter.

I believe that when a military swamps a region with war, creates an environment where foes flood a region with money and arms, and violence and battles are the norm, it is no surprise that one war can lead to another. Republicans, my God, read an effective history book or two on Vietnam and other key world events. If not, we will suffer similar mistakes such as Iraq and Vietnam in the future.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — A Mexican Senate committee passed a measure Wednesday urging President Felipe Calderon to send a diplomatic note to the United States protesting the deportation of an illegal migrant who took refuge in a Chicago church for a year.

The committee also approved a scholarship to help her 8-year-old U.S.-born son, Saul, who is an American citizen and stayed in the United States.

Elvira Arellano, 32, became an activist and a national symbol for illegal immigrant parents by defying her deportation order and speaking out from her sanctuary in the Adalberto United Methodist Church. She announced last week that she was leaving to try to lobby U.S. lawmakers for immigration reform.

"We cannot remain quiet in view of this injustice and must ask for firm action from our authorities," Mexican Sen. Humberto Zazue said.

for at least four years. If they were unable to finish the four years, because they decides to quit, they would be deported. I also understand, you can't just go awal, but when you have another country to call home, I highly dought the US will go looking for them.

I for one would have no problems with this becuase if they are willing to fight for this country then, to me, they are considered American.

I've had 3 abortion in my 27 years of life and most of my friends had at least 1 and had a pro-lifer approached me before either of the three abortions it would have made no difference whatsoever. It's been 2 years since my last one and I couldn't be happier with my decisions.Pro-lifers' views have received widespread coverage over the last few decades and it's made no difference, what do thry think they'll achieve by approaching people outside of a clinic? It's not like they'll be telling the women anything they don't already know.If you get pregnant and don't want it,you shouldn't have it.It's really as simple as that.

Wikipedia? Anybody read the article that discovered that governement intelligence agencies have been going on to wikipedia and modifying entries in order to make themselvs look good (for example, the entries regarding Halliburton, Bush Jr, Iraq, and Saddam). Does anyone else see the inherent problem in this or is this another right of privacy we can sacrifice in the name "security"?

oh yea, forgot to mention that they used the work of a 25 yr old college kid to continuosly scan the entries and find out exactly where they originated from (and i thought it was all annoymous)

A grown moose belches over 100 Kg of methane a year. This has the equivalent effect of 2100 Kg of CO2 (More than a flight halfway around the world).
It’s true - had to laugh when I heard this one. Even our best conspiracy theorists couldn’t come up with this one.

At least for murder and sexual offences against children?! People kill, and if they have a good reason like "they taunted me" or "I forgot my medication..." they get an average of 5 years in prison. If people knew they were risking the death penalty, surely they'd think before killing someone?!

It took Clinton about six years to fix Reagan and Bush Sr.'s mistakes and leave a budget surplus, so what about now? Bush Jr. went through the Clinton surplus like it was water. Given that and America's image on the world stage, how long will it take a Dem to fix everything, or is that impossible?

Everytime I watch a DVD a notice comes on saying it's ellegal to copy dvd etc, etc, and then it goes on to say the FBI will investigate? You're kidding right? You mean my hard earned taxes are going towards the FBI investigating DVD copyright theft that should be left to the multi-billion dollar entertainment industry to take care of, NOT the elite police force of the United States!! I can only imagine how much that's costing the taxpayers of this country and the amount of manhours wasted!!
No wonder so many violent crimes in this country are un-soved, the mo fo's are chasing down movie pirates!! Yikes!!

ive had a no contact order for almost 9 months, my boyfriend has served his time in jail & paid his fines on his charges against me. i have court this morning about why i would like it lifted, do you know what i should say this is what i was thinking.
"well hes been in jail for 8 months already now hes in the halfway house, i believe this is alot to make him realize what he did was wrong, & i believe hes honestly willing & ready to change. i love him, we have a beautiful one year old daughter together & he knows how much hes missed out on. i would appreciate it if the no contact order could be lifted, it was modifed while he was in custody & i know that helped alot we talked & figured things out, we discussed the reasons why things happened, & we were both ready & willing to change we have a family & we would love to continue to be the family we once were." is that good? let me know asap thanks

I saw the news where the Gov. confiscated millions of dollars in heroin & cocain. Also, lots of money wrapped in plastic. What do they do with the money?. Do they give it away. keep it or use it for something in charity. If they do. isn't that a double standard? They take the money because it was gotten illegally, but use it themselves? Either way you look @ it, it's dirty money but I suppose they have to do something with it. Just wondering
