....AND continue its illegal and vastly expensive occupation of Iraq? Which would you choose to spend your country's money on if the government can afford to do only one?

Giving them all time off would stop spending and let present laws work. In twenty years the old ones will die off and we will have fresh blood and new ideas. We could rebuild the U.S.(long time over due) with the money we are saving. What do you think?

Since the early eighties, I have claimed a piece of land 16x50ft. at the rear of my house.
I have a boundry fence, patio and mature trees and shrubs planted in it .
At no time did anyone inform me that I was tresspassing or even ask me to remove the plants etc.
Now I have been informed by the school who share a boundry with the property that they own it. They registerd the land in 1985.
Do I have any rights and if so what are they and what should I do?

thur nite my little sister snuck out in the middle of the night fri AM we got a call from the police (shes only 14) apparently they found her passed out in a park, they drug tested her and it was positive for marijuana. weve never had any kind of problem like this from her she doesnt have a record shes an honor student an overall decent kid. on top of that she stole a bottle of wine from r house. the police didnt press any charges and she admitted the wine was stolen and that she had snuck out with some friends. the thing is the police called social services who r making her go to drug and alcohol counseling (which im not saying is bad mayb itll scare her into making this an isolated incident). but we have heard horror stories about social services. is this the type of case that stays open until the child is 18? will she b placed in a foster home or detention center? what should we expect?

The issues of today beg for the truth to be uncovered ... What has happened to the independent, unstoppable, get at the facts at all costs, Journalists in our society?

Have they all been bought off? Are they beholden to a corporate emperor? Too many cutesy little public interest stories to get in the way?

This is a momentous time in United States History. Everything that has made this country great is on the line for future generations. Can't you pry yourselves away from Paris Hilton long enough to uncover some meaningful truth?

The government took down the towers to cover up and get the press off the Roswell crash and the fact that secret government experiments are why the chupacabra's got loose. That and the Atlanteans demanded a better view of Manhattan from their invisible submarines.

BTW, i didnt hit the car or the house; we're 16-17 in toronto.

Recently I was beaten & robbed for the 2nd time this year. They got $70 plus my Treo Phone. The phone was insured, but the money wasn't. Taxi ridership is down over 50%. Currently it takes 60+ hours to clear $300-$400/week after expenses. To top things off, a few days before, an unlicenced/uninsured drunk driver hit me causing $2600 in damage.

I got to thinking that the robbers just grabbed the first money they see and run. Perhaps what I need to do is create some fake money for the next time. I could print in small letters on the back that the money is fake, age it, than put it into a small money pouch in the side pocket of the door. The real money goes into a drop safe that I recently installed.

If I simply hide the money, they would continue to beat me until I said where it was, but with fake money, I would just point it out to them. Perhaps in the pouch I could also sprinkle a little iching powder. What do you think?

coz believe it or not there is TONNES more evidence AGAINST the American Government than the terrorists!!!!

eg- the structure of the towers should have been able to withstand the plane crashes AND they collapsed level by level, just like it would if BOMBS were placed in there!! if they collapsed from the planes, they would have tumbled.

2)the tape of Osama Bin Laden talking about planning 9/11 shows that it cant have been him. he is right handed, in the tape he was left and more..!!

3) bombs culd have been placed coz b4 9/11 they had heaps n heaps of security drills n that wen every1 was evacuated. this was tym 4 them 2 b able 2 plant bombs.

4) fire culdnt have made towers collapse coz the temperature was no way near hot enough to melt the frames, as proved by specialists in that area.

there is still so much more evidence i cant fit here!!!

but behind all these reasons is why the gov. wuld want 2 do this. they wanted a reason to start war with Iraq! u neva noe!

It's a proven fact. The most generous people are people who vote REPUBLICAN. The top 25 most generous states consist of people who voted for Bush in 2004.

Tom Tancredo the Republican candidate for President suggested that if terrorists launched an attack against the US that we could retaliate by attacking Mecca and Medina. Does this show that he's a moron with no understanding whatever of the Muslim people or does it show that he's an out of control wacko?

It is not my personal opinion, but there are reasons why it may be. Americans say their country is the best, however, they have the less healthy people, one of the highest birth dead rate, the worst health care system in a developed country, and one of the less balanced economy, the most expensive medications, etc.

What if some one say "I have the best woman in the world, my woman is even better than yours, and than everyone's woman.", However, you woman may be the fattest, invade other women's house.

Now, if you say "my woman is the best woman for me" then people wont dislike you, because now you say it is the best, but only for yourself.

Can you name two subject in which USA is number one in the world? And don't say freedom. Because if you are called "without patriotism" for questioning your government, you don't have freedom. And many country have freedom. Nor economy, even thought it is the country with more money, it is also the one where people have to work the most.

I just need to know, for my own peace of mind that there are people pissed off because they will be drained of social security by the time they retire, or the fact that americans can not get state health insurence when they need it the most? Why? Because if you were to walk into a DES office, you would find that the majority is all illegals. I just want to know, is there anyone else out there that believes that they should have no rights what so ever if they did not come into our country the right way? No medical, no right to vote (which they are doing) no bank accounts, no government aid, no morgage. Please tell me there are still people in this country that are just as pissed off as I am.

The House last night unanimously agreed to create a special select committee, with subpoena powers, to investigate Republican allegations that Democratic leaders had stolen a victory from the House GOP on a parliamentary vote late Thursday night.

The agreement to form a special committee was extraordinary. Such powerful investigative committees are usually reserved for issues such as the Watergate scandal and the funneling of profits from Iranian arms sales to the Nicaraguan contras in the 1980s.

"I don't know when something like this has happened before," said House deputy historian Fred W. Beuttler. He called the decision "incred

I the police obtain a search warrant to search your house, can they be held liable for any damage they may cause to the property or items inside the property? Lets say they ruin your Van Gogh, break some antique vases, tear out your carpets, and put a few wholes in the drywall will they have to pay for the damages if nothing sinister is found (you get ruled out as a suspect).
