my friend egged a cop car by mistake and the car didnt see us at first but i think it did catch him but it might not have cuz it was still patrolling around looking for us(and it saw us, but hid somewhere) but there shouldnt be a reason for it to look if it already caught the culprit; not if he rats out on us which he's not the such guy but u dont know.....how long do I have until the cops come and question me? BTW, i didnt hit the car or the house; we're 16-17 in toronto.

You are in a lot of trouble. It doesn't even matter that it was a cops car, you intentionally inflicted damage on someone elses property. You should go down to the station and turn yourself in, face the consequences like a man and then turn away from your life of delinquency before you get into real trouble you little turd.

Does not matter if you threw the egg or not, you are guilty by being inside the vehicle at the time. You WILL get into trouble, however your punishment should be less severe than the actual driver and thrower.
You can try and plead that you did not know what they were doing, clearly you did though.

Also, don't try to B.S. and B.S.'er you and your friends knew it was a cop car. The light bar, reflective tape and the large letters spelling POLICE are usually a give away.

Are kids that damn stupid to think anyone would buy "we egged a cop car by mistake"? How many cars do you have running around your community that have red and blue lights on top and says POLICE, in bold letters. Mistake indeed.....if you get caught, tell them like it happened and take what ever punishment if any they dish out.

It's called assaulting a police officer and it is up to the officer whether or not he/she decides to make an arrest. The egg could be considered a weapon. 17 is not a child and a judge would make an example of you...this could mean JAIL TIME!

You lie too much...not even a good liar. You cannot egg a cop car "by mistake", unless you are blind and an equally bllind person is putting eggs in your hands.

well rethink your past time activities lol go play ball instead of egging cars, it causes damage to paint so if caught you face charges of damage to property
and secondly if an officer doesn't contact you then you have nothing to worry about. if they caught someone chances are they are satisfied, if not they probly will chalk it up to stupid kids being stupid.
