I filed two complaints for the same creditor for harrasing phone calls at my job. I made copies and printed out the F.T.C rules & regs about consumer rights and fair credit act and mailed them to the creditor. I also included the names of the employees on the complaint to the FTC and the personal letter to them. I hope sombody get their *** in trouble.

when you bash someone for the sake of bashing, it makes you lose the argument first thing. I notice so many on blogs and forums like this just name calling with no suggestion on how to solve problems. (mostly libs doing this all over the web) and they think that gives them credibility?

Stock exchange going over 14,000. They trumpeted how great the economy was because of Bush. Now it is falling like a rock, why aren't the same people blaming Bush for it's fall?

George Bush is held responsible for about 4,000 dead Americans in Iraq.

Michael Brown is held responsible for 1,836 deaths from Katrina the sixth largest hurricane ever recorded.

Michael Chertoff, even though it's Karen Hughes' job in her role as, undersecretary of state for public diplomacy is held responsible for US image abroad. 0 deaths as far as I know.

Philp Abbot is held responsible for 16,000 murders in the US in 2005 even though he was not the FBI Director that year.

Alberto Gonzales has had to appear before congress several times even though it really is not clear what exactly he's responsible for.

Following this logic: Inasmuch as there was 42,000 Highway fatalities last year, shouldn't we go grab Mary E. Peters the secretary of transportation and drag her into the street for a good old fashioned pistol whipping?

Preface:

Thanks to the anonymity of Internet, it is so easy to bang away on the keyboard and just spew out names and put downs that might make you feel good but never get to the an answer. Since this is Yahoo Answers and not Yahoo flame War, I want to see you think and respond. Don't just say yes or no. Don't just spit out flame at the other side of the aisle.

Now the question for 10 points by the end of the day:

Given his conduct in office during his tenure as US Attorney General, should Alberto Gonzales resign or face impeachment? If you think yes he should resign or face impeachment, please state why. If you think no he should be allowed to stay in office, which would be an interesting argument, state why he should complete his tenure.

I'll reserve my own opinions, so as not to taint the answer pool.

solely on the basis of being a woman. (Please only those)

1. Would you vote for Hillary (or another democrat woman)
2. Would you vote for Condi (or another republican woman)

If your answer is no on either of them, then you are not voting on the basis of gender only, and I urge you to look at the issues. I would vote for a woman, but there is no way I would vote for Hillary, (and probably not Condi even though I have a lot of respect for her, I do not see her as a strong enough leader to lead the country.)

I'm single, no children, I rent so my whole thing is even though I listen to both sides and try to vote what's best for my community, I feel like what's the point none of it is for me anyway. Everything is for families, parents, homeowners, I'm none of those so even though I do my civic duty, I'm still like. . . .why? It doesn't effect me?

The presidency obviously has done nothing wrong, so why not comply with congressional subpoenas and demonstrate that there is no basis to what congress is insinuating.

Why doesn't he just show that nothing wrong has been done instead of drawing out an investigation?

Why not call congress's bluff and make them look like idiots?
