We are fighting with one hand tied behind our back. Terrorist do not value thier own lives so how can you stop them except by killing them all-is this possible? Or if right after 9/11 we would have nuked afganistan which I know would have killed thousands of innocents, but it would have also killed those terrorist themselves and thier families. Do they value thier families? Of course this brings you to thier level of hitting soft targets which is what they do. Very hard question to answer.

I think its necessary as a fator in our national security, but I also think there is a line to be drawn when it comes to protecting the individual civil rights of citizens. Afterall if we are going to stomp all over civil liberties, then what are we fighting for in the first place?

What first looked like an effective means of curbing terrorism, is translating into one term and one term only - BULLSH*T.

If you make a Terrorist state like Pakistan to be an ally in the War on Terror in the first place, how can you expect it to be successful?
