George Walker Bush and the present administration has doomed the GOP this time. That's just the facts and also the reason Democrats are able to raise so much money now. The country is fed up and tend to make larger contributions when they are.

It doesn't spell doom for the republicans, but if we end up with a democratic president and congress, it does spell doom for the country.

Republicans don't act foolishly when it comes to spending.
When the field of candidates becomes more stable, the money will be there in support of the candidates with the best chance of winning.
The money WILL NOT be didbursed throughout a crowd to a point where those MILLIONS of dollars result in no benefit.
The money will be targeted to where it will do the MOST good.

Yes. The big money goes to bribe the candidates that the special interests believe are most likely to win. It's not a gaurantee, but it is like being an odds-on favorite.

Are you saying that votes can be bought? Here's a little lesson I've learned in life. When they go over the top advertising a movie, I've found that the movie will fall short of what they are professing every time. Politicians are the same.

Maybe. Too bad, Ron Paul is signed as a Republican, and he's the best hope we've got as a country. :(
