Earl, I am with you my man. I wanted to reenlist after 9/11 but was too old. I think you have done enough for your country. Have trust in the next generation to serve. They are absolutely fantastic!

you are probably to old now but they need soem people, you would only be a E-1 though, and most likely you are not going to be abloud to especially by the time your waivers got approved ( they have to go up through the admiral of your fleet) and if Democrats take office our Navy is getting down sized so they might not need you, check inot the reserves though

You're a bit past it. You don't want those young guys calling you a bacon-faced sea crab, do you? Seriously though, the maximum age for all enlisted personnel is 60. It's 65 for officers.

Its good to see some seasoned Veterans still wanting to serve, but they have there rules, but we can still support or Military people.I thought of going back in myself but I am a disabled Veteran and would be in the way but we have THE FINEST PEOPLE DEFENDING US.

your current age minus the number of previous years of service has to be under the maximum recruitment age.

it is very doubtful that they will allow u to reenlist but u should contact a recruiter and ask him/her.
