when you bash someone for the sake of bashing, it makes you lose the argument first thing. I notice so many on blogs and forums like this just name calling with no suggestion on how to solve problems. (mostly libs doing this all over the web) and they think that gives them credibility?

this has to be one of the best questions I've heard all day. most of the questions on here are people attacking other people or beliefs, rather than asking how we can resolve them. . . . . and as for answering your question... its probably because each side has different beliefs of how the country should be run. (as an example)some are pro life, others pro choice and are willing to fight for what they believe is right. One of our problems with our whole system today is that it's a real crap throwing competition(Try and throw as much crap at the opposing party and try and make them look bad). All goes with "Bash someone for the sake of bashing...". I don't know if each side will come together to resolve our countries problems, nor do I know if they ever will. But I hope we can stop **** throwing contest soon.

You just had to throw in the "most libs" comment, right? That kind of thing will really get people to want to unite.
Nobody has been more divisive than President Bush. Republicans and Democrats will not work together anymore just on principle, at this point.
This is like asking the Boston Red Sox fans to be friends with the Yankee fans--it's not going to happen. I'm not saying it wouldn't be a great thing if it did, but for this to happen, it would involve too many people--from both the right and the left--having to be willing to compromise or, worse yet, admit they might not be 100% right about everything.

Well, first off, Sir, It would be nice if we could, and I respect your recommendation for it.

However, until Liberals stop indoctrinating our children into their agenda, America will continue into a broad path of destruction.

Liberals teachers in our Colleges and Universities are teaching the children what THEY think they should be taught, and ommitting the parts of the lessons that THEY would want taught.

Liberals have taken God out of our places of education, ommitting the parts 'UNDER GOD' in the Pledge of allegiance, and also substituting the REAL beginning of Creation (God the Creator) with that Darwinism garbage (Evolution).

Liberals have taken prayer out of schools, and giving Muslims more freedom to do as they please.

Liberals are trying to abolish Christianity with their own version, the The Religion of Liberalism.

In essence we have become a society that tolerates bad more than good.

Until Christians and Traditional Americans stand up and STOP TOLERATING LIBERALS and their Sin Sick ways, America will continue to wax worse and worse.

Liberals need to find Jesus Christ, before there can be any agreement, Because Jesus is the only way that Liberals will be able to know what is right for America, We Conservative already know this, now it's time for DEMOCRATS to WAKE UP!!!!!!!!

you make a good point about the lack of effectual problem solving when bashing is the main source of feedback.

however, i don't think that many of the bashers are bashing as a means to solve. i think that they are bashing as a means to vent out frustrations.

ultimately, i hope & pray that we all get it together & realize what's most important because times are a changing & it seems not for the better.

It is refreshing to hear logical thinking on YA. Some days I think it has (logic) slipped by the wayside.

I think what has happened is "polarization". Everyone in your crowd it repeating the same "mantra" so some folks just blindly follow and chant it too to fit in to the group. Example: Bush lied babies died. Come on! All the democrats approved going into Iraq too. So they didn't get ragged on, they HAD to say Bush lied.

You are right, the libs have lost credibility as they can't logic an argument with facts and examples.

Because the veil of America is being removed. The very things that you are saying we shouldn't be doing are what the politicians are doing... and please don't pretend it is a liberal thing... the conservative right-wing religious fanatics do the same thing. America suffers from A.D.S., so nobody will actually take time to analyze things. It is much easier to bash than look for statistical data to back up what is being said.
As for me, I will continue bashing Democrats and Republicans until we have a system of elected officials who aren't buying their way in to office. Vote Independent.

Because the "leaders" set out purposefully to divide us so they could get elected, and now we are all suffering through a time where Americans attack their fellow Americans and their leaders instead of looking at our country as the UNITED States.

Let's see, terms like"lieberals"would not be bashing ,would they. Give it a shake. Most of the conservatives on here get their talking points from Limbaugh ( feminazi's, drive by media), and O'Rielly, ( moron's, koolaid drinkers, right wing loons, guttersnipes) Every Right wing show does nothing but namecall ( and I dare anyone to say they don't, with proof). Get with it.

Agreed! That's why my family writes and calls our elected representatives and lets them know how we feel about the issues.

A sense of civility and willingness to work with people you don't completely agree with for the common good is essential.
