I work for a popular company that advertises on tv quite frequent. However there was only one incident I had where a man in his 50's whom I helped and I was being courteous to him..Apparently he wrote my first and last name( as required we give when we are speaking to consumers) and did a search in PA to find me. He called me up after 10pm and I was stunned to even know he would go this far with me..I told him to stop calling me as I was married and what he wanted.
He stated he wanted to talk to me and get to know me..The jesture was nice but it freaked me out.I told my husband about this incident and told me there wasn't anything the police can do. I don't want to jepordize my job or I dont want to hurt anyones feelings but the only thing I can do is change my number..

I am all for going down to Venezuela and starting a war . Much closer and easier to manage or maybe we can get one going with Mexico .
We need our troops around the globe to defend our way of life .
Its a kill or be killed world and if you doubt that then examine policy and trade with any nation we do business with .
The Florida tourism industry flourished ever since Cuba was off limits .
More and more citrus is being plowed under to make room for tourism related activities and less and less workers are available to pick the fruits .
So we have traded work away to fund entertainment .

This produces service jobs or what I call slave wages .
If you do not produce something of value or add to the value of goods then you are a burden to others .
Low income families working in service jobs need assistance all the time . Its because they produce nothing .

I was wondering if someone could give me some insight to an IC issue. I was asked to help but never offered employment to do fashion for a company, and I researched and acquired my own list of names & numbers of vendors. Since I never signed an employment agreement, I consider myself an IC. My relationship is now ending on a sour note with this company, and to date they have NOT paid me for projects I've completed. Unfortunately, I do not have a written contract, since this all happended very informally. However, they're asking that I turn over my vendor contact list, along with files and a detailed list of procedures required to do my job. Who is the rightful owner of this list? Can someone please help?? Thanks!

what alternative is there to wiretapping while trying to survey a possible terrorist, who has reason to be suspect? this isn't a fascism/privacy/freedom issue, nor am I trying to bring bush into it. I just want to know how else can we keep certain people in check if we need to. personal privacy can go to hell if there is reason to suspect that someone is participating in terrorist related activities, and if it means preventing an attack. Ive got nothing to hide, they can listen to me have phone sex with a horse if they want.

I bought a TV from this company its pretty well known. I just recieved my third LCD TV in the mail today and it does not turn on. The first tv i bought from circuit city and the right speaker was blown, the replacement for that tv did not work properly either, the HDMI input did not receive signal from any deviece i used. Now the third i got in the mail from UPS today doesnt even turn on. If they refuse to give me my money back can i sue them? I have all information and receipts of the TVs and why they dont work.

i know a man who is the nicest person ever NOW. well he was back then but he had the worst temper for a##holes who bothered him. He lived in LA. etc... he got into a fite with a deadly weapon, knife? i tihnk and 'wounded this guy who went to the hospital and that guy pressed charges.. sentencing him to 3 yrs? yeah... now he has a family but b/c of the stupid things he did, his history has affected him from doing many things, specifically getting a good job.


If this is a blue collar job, like a friggin factory.. and the application says have u had a criminal conviction? wud it matter if he put no? lol i dont think they wud consider him if he put yes. but if you put no do those cheap factories go in and do a check anyway????.hes a goodman but you know he cant fite this. for this mistake.

A tactic where gangs are sued by the government is working and decreases in crime are being reported. Critics however feel these laws are unfair to minorities. Has America gone totally bat sht? I am a mixed guy; I grew up in the “hood”. We suffered under the tyranny of these terrorists. What in the hell is wrong with modern LIBERALS!? While I was growing up on the south side of Chicago I was surrounded by violence. We do not need some white liberals who live in earth friendly million dollar condos downtown telling us what is fair and unfair. We also do not need misguided so called black leaders. How can we fix these problems in the inner cities? What is the real answer? Liberals please respond. All you do is criticize what is being done but you never offer solutions, here is your chance.

Ahhhhhhh , finally our guy has got himself back on track . President Bush has taken such a beating over the last several years that it was showing in his public appearances . But right now he's sounding like a man with conviction , sure of himself again , and speaking with great clarity , rapidity , and confidence that makes me happy for him and our country . Not too often that he could be accused of being a great speaker , but he's on top of the ballgame right now . Ask him a question . . and Boom , he's on top of it and making one helluva lot of sense too !!
Liberals probably never realized it , but when they're bashing our President 24 / 7 , or if any of you got bashed 24 / 7 , you too would be distracted and somewhat debilitated in your performance . Liberals , you also probably didn't realize it , but when you bash our president day in and day out , you're not only hurting him . . . . you're also hurting our country .
