ADD: It would be better that I were dead? What a pompous SOB you are.

You have a job that helps provide it, or helps pay, or pays who a super great wage.

My mom is lucky. She's retired through a large company. She still pay $200 a month for it though.

Me? My place of employment doesn't provide it. To get insurance for myself it would run close to $425 a month. It's hard to do that with minimum wage. Or even $15 an hour with everything else I have to pay. rent, food, utilities, car, car insurance, etc.

Provide it Maybe not. Help make it more affordable? Yes, that would help.

I think it's the government's responsibility to make health care affordable, for eveyone.

How about this? Employees pay a third, business pays a third and govenment pays a third of premiums. Just an idea.

As for the one who said it would be better off if people who couldn't afford it just went ahead and died. Are you serious about that? You can't be serious?

That falls just one level below Hitler. Hitler murdered millions. You just want to let people die if they can't afford health insurance. Whoa, that's just downright scary.

Insurance of any type IMHO is legalized racketeering. Whose responsibility? Not sure yet. Something must be done that is just fact.

I think its yours also .
If you started a savings account for your health needs at 18 or when you graduate college by the time you reach the age you needed the money you would have millions to cover the cost of your own care .
Employers could pay higher wages and thus you could easily afford to care for yourself .
Those who make low wages and can not afford health care are better off left to die its just that simple .
We have to learn to manage resources much better with billions of workers on the planet . Not all of them are needed around after they become a burden on working producing people .
I should not have to pay for anyones care except my own and if my family is good to me then maybe assist them . .

Its yours, unless and until you or one of your loved ones is diagnosed with a catastrophic illness your insurance doesn't cover. God forbid it should happen to YOU, I imagine you would change your 'sink or swim' mentality.
