Why Not ?**** If I go on an interview for a job, I have to take a test.
This is an important position, why is it that they don't have to be qualified, we don't even ask any questions, we just put all our lives in their hands, what's that all about?

Dear DARKLOVE, please do not vote, if you believe our president Does Not have to have knowledge of the world.

I can't believe what some people think.

Possibly it would be better if they just appeared on Jeopardy. Then they could raise some money for charity, and we could also watch their personal behaviour while they made mistakes. Since he is a Canadian, Alex Trebec would also be an impartial judge.

It staggers me how truly ignorant some of our leaders are. The Republicans especially seem to have slept through history classes. They have sent our troops to Iraq to play redcoats while the fundamentalists play minuteman, having failed to learn the first American lesson: you cannot fight an unconventional war by conventional means. They have also forgotten the value of every martyr. Imagine, a supposed Texan who cannot remember the Alamo!

This appalling ignorance is not confined to Republicans, either. We need to winnow through the candidates without their handlers protecting them from revealing themselves for the fools they are.

I think the game show route would be best, but don't expect high scores.

I dont really agree with you but the other guy above miss the question totally. Its a nice idea but it would be impossible to create a test bias free. So, do we only elect a man who has a mind full of trivia? Who is the leader of Zambia, or Ecuador? What is the GNP of Chad? See who would write the test? And do the answers to the above even matter? TO US in the USA.

Edit; Gotcha. Ok, but what will it solve? That they know where other countries are on a globe? Honestly, what will it accomplish?
