What was really unfair was that on the CNN YouTube debates, the Democrats had a mentally unstable man with a huge gun trying to make gun control look great. I am sick of these gun control laws that have no effect on the crime rates whatsoever. I somewhat agree with the ban on automatics, but all the other gun control laws are nonsense. Looking at history, gun control is the first step to genocide and martial law. Hitler disarmed the Germans by passing gun control laws, then he was free to oppress any German he wanted because they were disarmed. Japan never attacked the US during WWII because they knew we were armed. The socialists governments in Europe banned most guns there, and the crime rate skyrocketed and is much higher than the crime rate of the US. Criminals will still find the means to purchase guns no matter how many laws are passed, and then they can attack innocent unarmed civilians. Criminals will always find a way to attack someone no matter how many laws you pass.

Liberal activists are stepping up their campaign against Fox News Channel by pressuring advertisers not to patronize the network.

MoveOn.org, the Campaign for America's Future and liberal blogs like DailyKos.com are asking thousands of supporters to monitor who is advertising on the network. Once a database is gathered, an organized phone-calling campaign will begin, said Jim Gilliam, vice president of media strategy for Brave New Films, a company that has made anti-Fox videos.

The groups have successfully pressured Democratic presidential candidates not to appear at any debate sponsored by Fox, and are also trying to get Home Depot Inc. to stop advertising there.

At least 5,000 people nationwide have signed up to compile logs on who is running commercials on Fox, Gilliam said. The groups want to first concentrate on businesses running local ads, as opposed to national commercials.

With liberals radical support of gay marriage, abortions-on-demand, and socialism (free money, food, healthcare, clothes, etc.) for everybody, shouldn't we be glad we have conservatives out there who uphold true values and the real American dream of independence and self-responsibility?

And no, I'm not talking hypocritcal buffoons like Foley and Vitter but real cons who eschew socialist views and uphold traditional American values.

President Bush on Wednesday said he will veto Senate legislation that would increase funding for SCHIP by $35 billion over five years because expanding the program would lead to more people dropping private health coverage, the Baltimore Sun reports (West, Baltimore Sun, 7/19). Senate Finance Committee members on Friday finalized a bipartisan agreement on SCHIP reauthorization that would increase five-year funding for the program from $25 billion to $60 billion by raising the federal cigarette tax from 39 cents to $1 per pack. SCHIP expires on Sept. 30.

We pay Income tax on every dollar we make, we pay sales tax on everything we buy (at least once), and we pay property tax year after year, yet when “we the people” speak, it falls on deaf ears.

The last American Revolution was fought over “Taxation Without Representation” – what makes the 1700’s differ from today?

As an American who is an icon of the business world, and on the verge of selling off a placebo of a company to a rather gullible Brit, I would like to ask the above.

It is of great concern to me that anobody in the US get wound up at all by british "royalty." This is the only link that brits have with their once golrious past, but I wonder how it is that they glean any hope that they may rise from their dismal socialist existence. Do Americans pay attention to brit royalty because they may have familiy links? Because they may simply feel sorry for the brits? These may be valid charitable reasons, but think folks, the more you coddle a socialist, the less productive they will get. On the flip side, it makes them feel good, and even more gullible in the negotiations.

So back to my side issue, should I complete the sale of the non-performing dental division to the brits? It would be a tidy little profit for me, and help me get rid of a non-performer.

We've all seen these stories. Bush saying the Constitution was just a piece of paper. Juanita Broaddrick's accusations against Clinton. Etc. etc. etc.

Can someone set forth an objective test by which to evaluate these stories? What level and type of proof convinces you in each case? Again, I'm looking for a neutral, non-partisan test to use in all cases, if possible. Thanks.

Do we have an obligation to one another as a nation and as communities to base our voting decisions on what is best for all? Do we have obligations to consider questions of justice when voting for people who can affect the rights of minorities? Are these questions only a liberal would ask or should everyone ask them?

After raining for 2 days straight, they reported urine spots on their patio below mine. If I watch tv or listen to radio above "2", they complain. If they see something out of place on my patio, they complain to get it removed. If I walk too much in my apt, they bang the ceiling or call landlord. what can i do besides sitting in a corner and holding my breath, especially when the landlord thinks I'm being defensive and beligerent because I always am being put on the defensive? My landlord is now threatening me..I'm 40 yrs old, never have guests, my dog is quiet and never urinated on the patio, and i live alone. Something has to give. What can i do? The landlord has gotten aggressive even though the complaints stopped and has even called family friends (the builder) to complain about me because when i first called to report possible tenant harrassment, he didn't even consider it and considered me to be defensive and uncooperative. I never even raised my voice! what can i do?

I think I've just been caught out by a speed camera; a police van on a bridge. It was a dual carriage way, so the speed limit was 70Mph.

Ive heard they allow 10% and another 5mph. Is this true? If so that would mean I could do 82mph. I think i was doing less than 82mph.

Do you think i will have a speeding ticket?

What speed are they normally set at?

Thanks.
