Umm 2100? maybe longer!

it's still a third world country!

takes lots of time to change that and evolve!

for example the U.S. wasn't a powerful and well known country until WWI.

HEY! I KNOW THESE ARE NOT THE ANSWERS YOU WANT TO HEAR BUT IM SORRY! YOU MUST FACE THE FACT THAT THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES WILL TAKE MANY DECADES TO EVOLVE! ITS NOT MY FAULT, ITS THE PEOPLE THAT DON'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! THEY HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE COUNTRY!

where india is rite now, is where the rest of the powerful countries were 20 years ago. So when india does become super power, these other countries will only be more powerful. The world is advancing around india, their education, money power, technology and infrastructure might become more powerful, but their state of mind won't change.

I would say they are already close to superpower status. They have nuclear weapons and plenty of wealth. Yes, they have poverty, but so does America and Russia in large quantities.

It's common for people in the UK to fly to India for operations such as joint replacements because there is a long wait for state funded operations and private ones are much cheaper in India, including the air fare. People who do this say the hospitals over there are superb. Contrast this with America, where some poor people can't even afford treatment when they get ill or have to rely on filthy run down medicair places.

Never. Education is still behind ours and I think we're in 20th place, Infrastructure - cars and goats compete for the same lanes in the streets. They are only progressing now because of the multi-national corporations propping them up. They don't seem to be able to do much without Great Britain or the US.

In the near future I see the European Union, China, and the USA as the world's superpowers. India perhaps later, but it's go far bigger overpopulation problems than China. It's population is growing far too rapidly, sooner or later something bad will happen.

Plus, it's government is incredibly corrupt.

By 2050, maybe. That too if corruption reduces. Else 2100.

EDIT - Hey you, the guy with Curious Mind as the id, do you know 3/4 of your country USA cant afford a $5,000 medical operation??? Eh smart@$$???
