Osama Bin Laden Dead?

I just received and e-mail stating French Intelligence says he died October 2004. Are we believing this?

I thought if he were dead they would martyr him. I questioned it due to it being French Intelligence. How or why I got this e-mail? I'm sorry I am not sharing this info. If he is dead wouldn't our own intelligence reveal this. It would give the American people some hope. And get some of us off Mr Bush's butt for a moment.

Given that the man needed dialysis, it is quite likely. Being hunted would have limited his access to a clinic.

The United States intelligence network, with all its resources, has failed to get even a sniff of the man. Of course, the CIA have been wrong so often you wonder who is in charge over there, but the Mossad, perhaps the most dedicated and efficient group on the planet, have been unable to locate him.

It does not matter if Osama is dead as far as George Bush is concerned. The Republicans see a political need to strike out at enemies, and if Osama cannot be found Saddam will do. Now that he is gone there is Iran.

If Osama was proven dead, Bush might have to bring the troops home and try to repair the economy instead. Since he has no clue how to do that you can expect the CIA to deny any reports of Osama's demise. Besides, Osama had nothing to do with Saddam in the real world, and Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11.

There have been rumors to that effect for some time now. But since it is in Al Qaeda's best interest to keep the specter of Osama still alive, I'm sure...if it is true...they have hidden the grave and will never let the world know the truth.

This is likely an old rumor that circulated last year. A French ministry official did say something like that, but he recanted.
