A very strict one which would maintain current requirements for immigration, and would deal with the illegal aliens while keeping the interests of American citizens first. A plan which would strongly secure the border and keep it secured. A plan which would include the removal of all illegal aliens who have committed any crimes against our society, including use of false papers, violent crimes, crimes of property damage, theft of services. A plan which would prohibit illegal aliens granted any status from ever becoming a citizen. A plan that repealed anchor baby laws.
A plan that serves to benefit Americans, not illegal aliens.

Liberal vs conservative barely comes into it. The liberals want to give Amnesty and Citizenship to illegals because, in the demographic analysis, a lot more of them are likely to become Democrats than Republicans, and they want those votes. The Republicans want as many illegals as possible to depress wages so that American companies can be more competative - and profitable. Both want the increase tax base to support sacred-cow Social(ist) Security.
Moderates stereotypically want a 'compromise' but where's the compromise between "throw the gates open" and "throw the gates open?"

I agree with the guy who said to enforce our current laws. But I also believe that we need to be very conservative and select only those who can be a benefit to our nation.
