solely on the basis of being a woman. (Please only those)
1. Would you vote for Hillary (or another democrat woman)
2. Would you vote for Condi (or another republican woman)
If your answer is no on either of them, then you are not voting on the basis of gender only, and I urge you to look at the issues. I would vote for a woman, but there is no way I would vote for Hillary, (and probably not Condi even though I have a lot of respect for her, I do not see her as a strong enough leader to lead the country.)

Katyana...that is sad, and you should not vote. Would you vote for Paris Hilton if she ran? Let's take it to the extreme to point out the absurdity.

DavidS...Clinton a republican??? That is one of the funniest things I have EVER heard! She is a radical socialist! She has been voted in the top 5 most liberal in Congress forever! Now, if you want costumes...Bush has become a radical liberal. Clinton might be slightly right of him.

As I told my 6 year old daughter when she asked if we will be voting for a woman for President (she always comes with me to vote) -
My vote is not so cheap as to be given away on the basis of a candidate's gender. I value my vote too much to give it away so cheaply. The candidate I vote for will have to EARN my vote based on their ideas and experience.

Vote for a woman? Absolutely. Hillary? No. I do not agree with her ideas about how to "fix" America. As far as Condi, I haven't really thought about it. I think that she would portray the correct image, but she currently is in a puppet position, and I am not sure how she would do on her own. I would never base my vote on gender, religion, ethnicity, or anything other than past accomplishments and future plans.

There are Hillary supporters who are pro-abortion socialists. The willl undoubltedly stay with the Democrats. There are other women that supported Hillary because they wanted to see a woman President. These women were disappointed twice by the Democrats. First they had to accept Hillary's loss to Obama. Then even though she won almost as many delegates as Obama she wasn't offered the VP spot. A lot of those women will be taking a second look at the Republican ticket.

Voting for a woman president is a non-issue. You shouldn't vote on the basis of gender but rather qualifications. I would vote for an individual based on their qualifications and if she happened to be a woman, so be it.
I wouldn't vote for either Hillary or Condi.

Hillary is going to get votes just because she is a woman and not get votes for the same reason. Even though it will make a difference it shouldn't. We should vote on the person and what we think they will do for American.

Hillary YES Condi No. Hillary ran this country for 8 years Even G W Bush said the country was in excellent economic shape when he was elected Now Look At It. In our current condition it would take 20 years to get back what the current administration has lost for us (and Condi helped get it this way )

I will never ever vote for Hillary. While Condi is a brilliant woman and qualified for the job, I would be hesitant to vote for her because of her stance and support of Affirmative Action.

Definitely would vote for a woman on the platform of gender. I would vote for either, but if they were running against each other, I'd probably vote for Rice since she has more international experience and isn't seen as riding the coat-tails of someone else.

I would agree on the "not Hilary" issue. Had not considered Condolezza Rice as a presidential candidate - I always assumed she was WAY too smart to run for president!
