No EU country will extradite a suspect if they face the death penalty.

In theory if Osoma Bin Laden gave himself up in the UK, he could not be legally extradited to the US without a legally binding assurance that he will not face the death penalty.

On June 9th, I proposed to my fiancee at the royals game. prior to that I had to pay $500 dollars to make the event happen. I was told it covers 4 tickets to the game, a dvd of the event and promo items that was given away recently, along with a 1 night stay at a 4 star hotel and a signed item from a random baseball player.
Well at the day of the proposal I got there in the nick of time, and the royals lost and had to pay for parking. But we got 2 bobbleheads, 2 shirts, 2 magazines, a magnet, 2 draw string back packs, a easter bunny. I also was told I would get the dvd within 3 to 4 weeks after the day.
After waiting until yesterday which would make it 6 or 7 weeks I finally after emailing the person I worked with the dvd. The dvd I recieved was in a dvd slip case envelope and the dvd was not what I expected which was a dvd that lasted 5 seconds with the game announcers voice talking and that it didnt show everything that happen.
I feel basically I got ripped off from this.

Folks, an attorney general is a symbol of integrity and honor holding steadfast to the law before the constitution. Gonzalez is refuting HIS OWN testimony before Congress, this is another sad and continued demonstration of the inadequecy of the Bush White House.

My taxes could go up $12,000 a year, and I would break even. Since I got health insurance, I can't get them to pay for ANYTHING. It takes 4 visits to the pharmacy, 3 phone calls to my insurance company and still I can't get my prescription filled. When I went to the clinic, I could get a prescription and fill it right there. Clinics are GOVERNMENT run. So, without using hypotheticals, tell me how UHC could possibly be worse than a for profit insurance company that stands between me and my doctor?

Just a thought :)

According to the 22nd amendment:
"No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once"

Does Hillary implicitly qualify for this?

I'm starting to see why the mafia came to existence , when the law is worthless and does nothing to protect innocent people.

Today we were harassed , verbally abused and involved in a highly heated exchange of words with our neighbors . we called the police . The police said they wont come until some one has been physically hit!

Its ironic how quickly police come for something so small as listening to your music up loud

I can really understand how some people take the law into their own hands.

I live in the country, and an aircraft buzzed my house quite a few times, eventually scaring my horses and livestock. I don't know why or who it was. I got my binoculars and recorded the number off the side of the plane.

I would like to have a discussion with the owner and/or pilot of the plane. What should I do to find out who I need to contact.

Are there laws pertaining to something like this?

I posted a question asking whether global warming had stopped, since 1998 was the "hottest year on record."

Beren then posted "where do cons get their information" with a link to my question and a link to NASA saying 2005 was depending on how you assess it, .1 degree warmer than 1998. This q/a still stands.

Actually NASA is alone among the various agencies worldwide in considering 2005 to be hotter than 1998. Most consider 2005 the second warmest - though some try to "adjust" for the El Nino in 1998 - - - not that that makes any sense, that heat had to come from somewhere and go somewhere, I don't see how you don't include that - - - - and everyone puts 2006 at 4th or 5th.

So I posted a question responding to Beren, saying "Yes Beren, 1998 was the warmest year" and supporting this assertion with several links. THAT was reported and removed by Y/A as a "violation" - - - -

It was no more personal than and no different from the Lib post, yet mine was removed. Why?

Woudn't it be better just to have certain items exempt from any sales tax, such as groceries, medicine, clothes under $50, and school textbooks.
I think having a sales tax increase could allow us to cut out income tax.
It would also tax tourists and illegal immigrants, and all "cash-only" folks when they go shopping.
I would like to know whether there would be enough revenue then to not have to cut GOOD government spending, like for education, healthcare, roads, fire, police, teachers, defense, etc. Or, would the tax burden weigh heavily on the poor and allow numerous loopholes for the bigwigs.???

In the Koran, it says that you get 72 virgins in heaven if you die killing an infidel. But it doesn't go into much detail about what the virgins look like, or really anything about them. So, their virgins may be more like this:

You think they might be in for a surprise???? What kind of virgins do you think they'll be getting in heaven?
