No. He does not have the money or the support of the DNC. Democrats traditionally abandon the losers of Presidential elections. Al Gore is a perfect example. They are cordial and socially supportive of him in his global warming campaign but no one is going to give up the big bucks for a run at the White House. Everyone believed he should have won the election with at least 65%. He ran on the strongest economy in 40 years, he was the 2 term sitting vice president, and he ran against "the dumbest candidate in history" and he lost. Heck, he didn't even carry his home state.
No. you will not see Al Gore run in 2008. If a Democrat wins in '08, he would not challenge a sitting Democrat in '12. Then in '16 he would in all likelyhood have to run against the sitting 2 term VP. How old would he be then?

If time spent in the White House is automatic qualification for the job, I would suspect that some of the Secret Service detail has been around since Reagan, and would be a better choice than a carbon credits salesman.

Depends on who you ask but some would say that Hilary has been president for 8 years already.
Gore should have been President in 2000. Lords knows he would have done a better job.
I'd like to see him run as VP under Hilary.

No. He's too busy running to catch his son who is doing 110 mph in his hybrid on southern California freeways. Besides, there is a weight limit to run for President.

Either:
A.) "I am NOT running for President" mean that he is NOT running?
OR
B.) The English language is totally useless as a tool for communication?
I hope that the answer is A.

He has said repeatedly that he will not run and I believe him. He is busy working on his new invention. He is going to call it 'the wheel'.
