My taxes could go up $12,000 a year, and I would break even. Since I got health insurance, I can't get them to pay for ANYTHING. It takes 4 visits to the pharmacy, 3 phone calls to my insurance company and still I can't get my prescription filled. When I went to the clinic, I could get a prescription and fill it right there. Clinics are GOVERNMENT run. So, without using hypotheticals, tell me how UHC could possibly be worse than a for profit insurance company that stands between me and my doctor?

Oh, and since I pay that much, and only use about $200 a year for it (required, since I got insurance, for me to renew my birth control) I am still paying for others to be insured.

But Big that money left over after they pay the $200.........that doesn't provide healthcare to others, that goes into the pockets of the insurance company execs. I used to work for an HMO provider and the left over money from the patients not using all of their alottment each year went into paying bonuses to the docs for not prescribing expensive services.

I dont need the government involved in my health. There is enough interference by government in life as it is. I have no problems with my health insurance or getting my perscriptions. One phone call to the pharmacy and then go pick it up at a time I choose. My heatlh insurance has always paid without any arguments about charges.
