I find it very distressing that a country with a strong agricultural infrastructure even needs to import food. We have the ability to feed ourselves with what we grow here, so why are we even importing anything. We should ban all foreign imports, or at least have stringent inspections of anything that comes into the country. Politicians are more concerned with trade agreements with other nations than with the safety of the citizens of our country
