are the mafia the good guys? Is the legal system failing us?

I'm starting to see why the mafia came to existence , when the law is worthless and does nothing to protect innocent people.

Today we were harassed , verbally abused and involved in a highly heated exchange of words with our neighbors . we called the police . The police said they wont come until some one has been physically hit!

Its ironic how quickly police come for something so small as listening to your music up loud

I can really understand how some people take the law into their own hands.

I think it shows a sign of lower intelligence to believe and accept that everything written down in our "beautifully" constructed law is good and just , and forgetting that a lot of things are exempt from the law , such as a humans basic right to shield his familys ears from others verbal ,racial abuse ignoramous.

People like you are my excact point .

They go by "the book", by the written law. The book works in favor for the writer , ie the layers in judges , who profit the most from others loss.

Please explain to me what law you believe your neighbors violated by using words against you. They have free speech just as you do. Calling someone an idiot does not violate any law or any person's rights. It's unfortunate you believe words require a physical response. Some people believe that is a sign of lower intelligence.
