Pentagon to Sen. Hillary Clinton: You're Aiding the Enemy With Iraq Withdrawal Questions
Thursday, July 19, 2007

She's more worried about "withdrawing from Iraq efficiently" than conducting the war to win efficiently.

My employer has been putting me on call on nights and weekends. I do not get any comp time or overtime. I am a help desk (computer support) person. I make less than 50K$ a year. Am I entitled to compensation for the time I have worked over 40 hrs per week? I have recorded hrs back 5 months but never officially submitted them to my boss. He of course knows Im on call and doing work but specific hours I have not reported. If I am entitled to compensation, is it too late to get compensated for the time I worked in the past? Please only answer if you know, not if you think you know.

I personally think the labels are thwarting progress in our government. What do you get out of being a Dem or Con? Do you ever take the other side seriously? Have you ever heard a plan from the opposing party and said, "Not a bad idea.." or do you write them off because they aren't a member of your party?

Thanks.

that all used to be at our location. We've been there a year and for a time I would write on the address "not at this address" and return it. What am I legally supposed to do with this mail? You can tell most of it is junk mail but some is not. What is the rules/laws regarding mail coming to your address with some one else's name on it? Apparently they did not do a change of address when they moved!

Bush's new executive order is very ambiguous in its wording. What guarantees that this will actually be used to fight "terrorism"?

Every time someone asks a question about pulling out of Iraq, half the people have to say "we still have bases in Germany and Korea, so we are never really pulling out". Cmon, give me a break, 1 or 2 bases is not the same as a several hundred thousound troops. When someone says "bring the troops home" they mean bring the large majority of them home.

Also, for everyone who says we should stay for 10 plus years, it's never gonna happen. Your doing the same thing democrats do when they try to put a timetable for the troops; trying to make a point by uselessly suggesting something that will never happen.

• The US estimates we spend $45 billion a year on Drug Prohibition. $30 billion of that is spent on incarceration alone.
• Drug use has increased in every category measurable since the prohibition of drugs began.
• The average markup of legal drugs (caffeine, nicotine, alcohol) is 18%, where the average markup for illegal drugs (cocaine, heroin, meth) is closer to 1000%. In other words, the ‘risk’ factor for selling drugs is a massive premium that makes drug trafficking a substantial business. Estimates range in the hundreds of billions a year, but are impossible to measure.
• Prohibition creates a market that wouldn’t be there for extraordinarily dangerous drugs, such as Meth and Crack.
• The US estimates only about 10-20% of all illegal drugs are actually intercepted. Hardly an effective number.
• Prohibition limits pharmaceutical studies and use. THC is clearly beneficial to Cancer & Chemo patients, as well as Parkinson’s sufferers.

I would like to hear others' opinions before I take my next steps. My ex, broken up 5 mths ago, decided to contact me again through stalkish ways. He called twice from an "Unknown" number, not talking when I would repeatedly say hello, just breathing (although I could find out the no. through my online account, thus verifying it was him). He proceeded to send me a text saying that he loves and misses me. He realized that I wasn't going to respond back, he decided to post my number on a website under erotic services. Received a couple of calls, I was able to get the website to take down the post, the site gave me the IP, email and other info in regards to the post. The IP pretty much confirms it was him (I don't known anyone else from that area). However, I would have to contact the ISP in order to verify the actual address.

Should I: 1) contact him now, tell him that I'm willing to not charges if he stops, 2) wait to see if he would try this again, then press charges.

I vote in the 2008 presidential elections, and this will be my first time, and even though I'm leaning a lot to one of the candidates I want to "know" all of them, and know exactly what it is that they stand for and everything, so I've been wanting to see the speeches and stuff but I never know when they are...
Where can I find out, or does anyone know when the next one is?

"The far-Right party’s candidate there captured a respectable share of the vote: 8.9 per cent.

...Labour has little to cheer about either – apart from the mere fact of having held on...
Labour’s vote fell by 14.1 points in Sedgefield and by 7.3 points in Southall. In Sedgefield Labour’s share of the vote was only 44.8 per cent, in Southall only 41.5 per cent.
In neither place does Labour now have an overall majority.
The only party to make more than derisory gains was the Liberal Democrats who were up 8.0 points in Sedgefield and 3.2 points in Southall... even the Liberal Democrats failed to come within hailing distance of victory in either.
The swing in their favour from Labour was 11.1 per cent in Sedgefield and 5.3 per cent in Southall."

Voters have seen through the Leftist hyperbole and lies as BNP clearly demonstrated to be a legitimate, viable party.

They and LibDems have your interests at heart and only the chronically self-delusional would now trust Labour or Tory
Thoughts?
