I do not think ones success in school could possible indicate how well someone could run the country. It is more about character they about academic achievement.

GWB is considered by most of the American public to be the worst president ever, and historians believe that when all of the documents are opened, Carter will be cast in a much better light then he is now. Reagan also seems to have failed a few law courses, Selling weapons and funneling the money to contras without consent of congress is very illegal.
Clinton: A student. Restores Economy, leads US into decade of prosperity, low unemployment and relative peace. impeached but never convicted becasue of something that had nothing ot do with governing.
WW- Great president accually, tipped the balance to save Europe from coming under German control. then he outlined a plan that could have ended a lot of violence and created an era of cooperation if not for the Republican senate.
I would advise you not to argue with people with brains.

"GWB - Two Terms. Restored Honor & Dignity back to the White House"
I can't disagree with you on FDR and Reagen, but Bush. lol Did u just make that S**t up?
Wilson? Horrible choice? Better choice than the Iraqi war right? How is "WWI a terrible choice", Germans were destroying our passanger and cargo ships so we enetered the war. You conservatives make stuff up...
At least Kerry and Gore got into college on their own...didnt need daddy's help.
Why do u bring liberals into this? FDR and Truman arguable made this country what it is today? Sure Reagen was good, but how can you say Bush was good?
You are a very deluded person...

YOU HAVE ENLIGHTENED ME
Confidential college transcripts and test scores obtained by the Washington Post reveal that neither presidential candidate, George W. Bush nor Al Gore, were shining students during their college days at Yale and Harvard, respectively. Although each earned respectable scores on theSAT college admissions test (a total of 1355 of 1600 for Gore and 1206 for Bush), neither did that well in their college courses. Both earned a mix of B and C grades. Gore's lowest grade of D came in a natural sciences course, while his top grades were an A in French and English, an A in Visual and Environmental Studies, and an A- in Social Relations. Bush's lowest marks were a 70 (of 100) in Sociology and a 71 in Economics, while his highest scores were High Passes in History and Japanese.
In 2005, the Boston Globe obtained comparable information on John Kerry's undergraduate record at Yale. It shows that Kerry had a cumulate grade average of 76 over
four years in school. His freshman year average was 71 and his senior year average was 81.

they likely make more popular presidents. americans are notorious for their lack of education, and utter ignorance of the world around them. They have always preferred presidents who arent very smart, that they can relate to. As can be seen with the current prez, even illiteracy is no barrier to the white house.

I would say it depends on why they got the grades they did:
A 'C' student that got 'C's for not caving to liberal teachers is much better then a weak person who lets his views be swayed by the liberal education system.
As for those who get lower then 'C's your guess is as good as mine.

I don't believe you can measure one's effectiveness in a leadership role by grades in school.

"Restored Honor & Dignity" was that before or after he used the United States Constitution to wipe his ***.
