Pentagon to Sen. Hillary Clinton: You're Aiding the Enemy With Iraq Withdrawal Questions
Thursday, July 19, 2007

She's more worried about "withdrawing from Iraq efficiently" than conducting the war to win efficiently.

Its her nature, anything to harm what America really is, please remember her vision is, free abortions for all,, indoctrination of all children starting in pre-k on what an evil place the US is, how we have abused and did every nation wrong. Condoms for all, tax everyone with a job till they stagger, the horrors go on and on.

She is a senator on the Senate Armed Services committee and she has a right to ask the question.
The eventual withdrawal from Iraq is a pertinent question, we don't want a Viet Nam type of withdrawal with people hanging off of plane in an effort to get out before they are overrun, and we don't want a last man standing panic, or the leaving of tons of munitions in such a volatile country.
This is a legitimate concern and one that the Pentagon is aware of and has done research on. There is some bad history between the man who sent that letter, and the Clinton's and that must be taken into consideration too.
I, for one, am tired of any and all questions asked by Americans who disagree with the President, or who aren't of the 'right' party, being treated like second rate citizens because they aren't in Bush's' corner. We are Americans first, and worshipers at the altar of Bush dead last.
A fact that might best be remembered at election time.

More troops will help us win faster. Hillary is for withdrawing troops.

Now, to really understand this, imagine you are playing a really close chess game with someone. Now imagine some mediator threatening to take pieces off your side of the board if you don't start to win in X number of turns.

If we take troops out of Iraq, then our chances of defeating the insurgency will waver. And, yes, this aids the enemy. They want to see as few "chess pieces" opposing them as possible.

Let me start by saying I hope Hilary Clinton is never elected president of the US. Having said that, I suggest that questioning the status quo and established authority is a healthy process - but like anything else, it needs balance. I'm actually upset that the Democrats seem to be invalidating themselves nationally, because though I disagree with many Democratic positions, they are needed for balance at all times. Republicans are not in good balance either. What would really be constructive for the United States would be a new, viable third party - which I believe would make both of the established parties pay more attention.

She wants to stay true to her base. The democrat party is banking on us losing the war, they think they can win the 2008 election if this happens. Yes she is helping the enemy and this is called treason, but most of her party are just as guilty.

Questions regarding military operations should be kept confidential. If she, or anybody else wants to know... and has a real need to know... they can go to the source... in private... and should keep the answers to themselves. The only indication of those answers should be in the way they vote.

The public have no real need to know about military plans and strategies. These are the things the enemy wants to know. To publicly pose a question about military plans and strategies is of no value to the official, to the voter, or to the country. It has to be merely a ploy to stir up uninformed public opinion, and to gain votes.

Sen Richard Lugar, a Republican, asked for the same information as Clinton....you will notice the Pentagon didn't criticize him...this is just partisan crap.

It's tragic that a Senator is accused of "aiding the enemy" for doing her job.

The Senate is voting on withdrawal bills. So, logically one would expect a Senator to want to have as much information as possible to make an informed decision.

Then again, she voted against confirmation for the person who sent her that letter a few years back, so it's debatable how much is personal animosity towards her by that person.

Her intent is to make sure the surge never has a chance to work becuase if it does that will seal the fate of the DNC.
The polls will swing in the other direction.
