Isn't that amazing?

Federal Minimum wage is going up from $5.15/hour to $5.85/hour. Do you think that's too much? I do. I believe that if they keep raising the minimum wage, people will stop seeking higher education. In fact, minimum wage earners are the same people that can go to college for free. They shouldn't raise anything for them.

My wife is older than me. She has made a will, I haven't. Our total assets are about £250,000. If we both die together at the same time does our estate go to:
1. Those named in her will because she's made one & I haven't.
2. My next of kin because I'm younger
3. Neither of these, in which case please elaborate.
Thanks.

It seems that many Muslims want to escape Islam and move to the west, some may feel happier in a country which is Muslim. This is very understandable and perhaps they want a combination of modern world politics and freedom of choice but in a Muslim environment. So where can they go in the massive Muslim world which is home to about 1,400,000,000 Muslims?

Seriously, folks. Have you known ANYTHING run by the government that has functioned well? Take a look a social security. I say that the solution lies in people taking responsibility for their own healthcare, making it a priority, and not depending on someone else to do it for them. Your views?

It took more then a speech of lies to get these democrats to believe what Bush believed, and it takes more then just a speech to convince me that they are any less to blame then Bush, the only difference now is they deny it, and by their promises to withdraw our troops does not in anyway make them less to blame.

Here in Portland, Oregon I had cops come into my house without a warrant to brandish weapons at myself, my boyfriend, roomate and our dog. It sucked. I'm looking for ideas on how to make a good fuss about this to hopefully help protect the constitution. Full details here.

Also does anyone know if the fact that our door was open (for ventilation in 100 degree heat) nullifies the need for a warrant?

Anyone heard of the IRA? Does any realize that Muslims believe that radical Islamists are infidels in the eyes of Allah/God? Has anyone read the Koran? Do people know that Muhammad wanted to remind the Middle East and the World of the teachings of Jesus Christ?

Why do people think that the radical Islamists are people that make up mainstream Islam?

I want to do objective research on existing information on the United States presidential candidates for the 2008 election. Where can I find OBJECTIVE data/analysis on each candidate, regardless of political party, where I can read their information side-by-side. I'd like to be able to see each candidate's views and their answers to the same question without changing the question.

For example: for the Presidential Candidate "A", "B", "C", et al.: What is your view on Immigration. All candidates are asked this question and all answer it. But like I said, I'd like to read each question, in the same order, and their responses in a side-by-side analysis.

Suggestions? Thanks!
