Depends how I feel that day.
If I felt like draft doging, two answers:
First, the draft is gone and will not come back.
Second, if it did come back, you wouldnt need to go since the govt. hasnt been pressing charges against AWOL soldiers.

There wont be a draft. First there are so many people wanting in and wanting to reenlist that they are denying people. Second the people who are in do NOT want a draft either. We don't want a complainer on our side.

I already served 22 years and retired. But I'll beg them to let me back on active duty just so I can be there when they bring the first groups of draftees in for processing.

Medical and physical incapacities are the only valid reasons to evade the draft.
