There isn't much in the way of punishments in the US Constitution for anything. It generally sets up the form of government and specifies some things the government can and can not do.

No. the constitution contains no laws, only a framework from which laws can be made. It places restrictions on what the government can do, and describes how the government is supposed to function.

The Constitution has several provisions to prevent abuse of power.

The authority of Congress to remove one of their members (Article I) is one. The impeachment of the Executive (Article I) or judges (Article III) is another.
