It'll never happen. it's the libs pandering again. The fact that they would even consider it shows they have no understanding of the situation there.

If "democracy" wins..... for how long?
It took the US 80 years to work out the major kinks in the system, and we're still hovering on the edge of sectarian/partisan violence every day. Just look at the vitrole and hatred spewed by both sides against the other .... in the US!
And that's with 230 years of trying to make this work, starting with us all being on the same side. The conflict that is ongoing in Iraq has roots 1100 years old. It's not going to end any time soon.

I'm assuming you are talking about Iraq? If so, review your history, say World War II, where it took many years before such places as Germany and Japan were again stable, in a democratic society framework, where they have been allies since. I do not expect this trend to change for Iraq. We have disrupted their lives and stability - I personally hope for the better - but we cannot bail out on them, now that we have precipitated their crisis, and expect anyone in the world to ever trust us again. We need to stay long enough to insure their democratically inclined government is stable and strong enough to withstand attack before we get out of their hair - or we'll have Iraq becoming a huge training ground for terrorists, and not remotely democratic and free - doesn't have to be OUR interpretation of free, but people need to be able to have "choice" guaranteed by their government, or what's the point?

Our boys did win in Iraq. Four years later they're still there.
It's the war, not the Victory that the Busheviks want.

No.
The Democrats have been saying what they think you want to hear. Frankly, I suspect that they are secretly hoping to lose the election lest they be forced to come up with better policies.

Majority said no to your answer.
What democracy, they were asking.
As long as there is oil in Iraq, Bush and future buddies, at the expense of Innocent US citizens, dead or otherwise, will fight to stay in Iraq.

no. maybe some of them, but an extremely marginal amount. have they done anything they said they would since they got in? of course they can explain that by saying they are STILL having hearings about how they are going to do what the promised to have hearings about doing something about.

you mean democrat?
No. I remember Viet Nam. This war is a corporate war. Whichever party is in power will have to toe the military/industrial cabal's line.
This war goes on for about ten to twelve years.
