that if you don't respond to the citation sent to your house, you're not obligated to pay it because there's no proof that it has been received? I heard this from someone who claims that their friend who is a Sheriff told them this.

I hear all these analogies of the babies brains being sucked out of the mother with a vacuum. I took this for being stupid, but then I said to myself, I don't really know.

Do you?

saudi arabia seems like the perfect nation. totally conservative, no political correctness, no communists, no hippies, theyre all afraid of it! even feminists never say a word about it out of fear. they will always keep their culture because they also regulate immigration. people can leave, but few can enter. the native population is growing rapidly and there is no abortion, so there will always be saudis. their economy is booming, and soon they wont even need to rely on oil. they keep their religion, and dont adopt others. NO ONE questions them! they are afraid! and they do all of this by will, not by rule of law.
at this rate, saudi arabia will last nation on remain on earth, while america is constantly bogged down by liberals and the ACLU who dont really focus on human rights.

can we thus prove that liberalism destroys nations? like the roman empire for example...

I was shocked and... well tbh I was impressed by the power of it. Together with the clarity of the night-time vision from such distance, and the command structure tone of the US soldiers involved, after they appraised the situation.

Normally I don't want to see anyone getting hurt... but cowardly roadside bomb planters I will make an exception for. These are the same type of people who blow up 50+ people in a marketplace.

I have noticed that many of the questions on the politics section are ones such as "Why do liberals hate democracy?" and "Why are all liberals so uptight and rigid?" and other insulting, untrue accusations. I am a liberal myself, and, to be fair, I have noticed that some of the insults have been going the other way, but I still believe they mainly come from the right. Either way, it is totally unverified and uncalled for, so why do people do it? Opinions?

I was at the beach in california with my a few of my friends and I was the oldest one there. I was only standing with my friends watching them fishing. I wasn't holding nothing on my hands, while One of my friend were fishing. He was actually holding the fishing reel with a fish hanging onto it when the police officer got to us. One police officer came and told me to give out any infomation that he needed and told me to sign something. i did everything that was asked. Then told him that I wasn't fishing at all and that I was only visiting...watching my friends and other people fishing only.

I went to court for that case. The judge asked me to pay the find, but I said I don't except it because I'm not guilty. I explain to the judge what exactly was happending at that time. He then set another court date for this. Apparently I forgot that court date so I didn't show up for it. I had a warrant for that. Tomorrow I have court and I'll show up for sure. Any adivce???

Dunham, who grew up in Scio, N.Y., was the leader of a rifle squad with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marines, in Iraq. Dunham's squad was conducting a reconnaissance mission in Karabilah on April 14, 2004, when a nearby convoy returning to base was ambushed. When Dunham's squad approached to assist the convoy, an Iraqi insurgent jumped out of a vehicle and grabbed Dunham by the throat. As Dunham wrestled the insurgent to the ground, he noticed that the enemy fighter had a grenade in his hand. Dunham ordered his Marines to move back, and when the enemy dropped the live grenade, Dunham took off his Kevlar helmet, covered the grenade with it, and threw himself on top to smother the blast.

Dunham initially survived his wounds, but died eight days later at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., with his mother and father at his bedside.

"By his selflessness, Corporal Dunham saved the lives of two of his men and showed the world what it means to be a Marine," Bush said.

What are your views on all the recent nationwide immigration rallies? Do you feel that persons coming to America should be able to do so without applying for legal citizenship status? Are there other countries that will allow you to come there and live without applying for citizenship? How do you feel this might affect the country in the long run? Do you feel the actions the government is taking are fair and logical? What would be your suggestions?
